I came here to see the intended way to beat the puzzle and damn I'm hella dumb. I beat it by brute forcing it essentially. I kept trying to get through before the rope snapped. It took several tries but I managed to get there before it snapped lol.

You do realize that if you had moved the spigot over and refilled the bucket after lifting the gate, you would have dropped the water level again and had less of a problem avoiding the piranhas and could have walked to the challenge statue. It made things a bit easier.

I was really stuck here thanks...ps: I found funny that the piranhas take so long to kill you, as Im playing in one with the jungle difficulty from start on my first play and they kill you in 1 or max 2 secs

I play in deadly obsession
in that difficulty there are no survival instincts and piranhas can kill her immediately and also Lara never says anything about clues and stuff (people playing in easier difficulties complaining that she is repeating her words)

I had the rope snapping issue as well, you need to turn it all the way so the water hits the wheel, leave it for a second then turn it away. Watch the video carefully, it does work.

I had a glitch. The part with the raft , I was stuck. Then saw this video and I noticed the last raft was not showing up (near the camp site) . Then a travel outside and come back using the camp site and there it was.

I died as I was cutting the rope, when I loaded back in the rope was cut but it didn’t register that I had cut it so it’s still telling me to cut the rope but there’s no rope there to cut 😭 I’m not gonna be able to complete this Tomb 😡

Is this the first or second rope you’re talking about? Because I had the same with the first rope and just continued cutting the second rope and then it continued. Hopefully it works out for you, good luck!

Flosotu 2020 it’s the first rope. I continued on to the second rope & cut it ok but it was still telling me to cut the first rope even tho I already had it cut. I’m on my second run through the game & the same issue happened this time again 😭

WTF!? I don't have that raft tied to a rope on 3:24. The rope goes under the ground. I'm able to cut it. But nothing happens.
Edit: It reappeared after a restart. Whew! Thought I was stuck.
