- 10 bit SDR on iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 Series. Available up to 4K 30 FPS.
- ProRes on iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Available up to 4K 60 FPS.
- Stitch Recorded Footage. Available in the main settings menu under the “File management” tab. The “Stitch Recorded Footage” option allows pausing/resuming the recording process and saving a final video in a single file. A single tap on the record button pauses/resumes the recording process. A long tap on the record button stops the recording process. NOTE: The “Stitch Recorded Footage” option is not available in 10 bit HDR
- Smart Exposure Mode. Available in the main settings menu under the “Camera controls” tab. Smart exposure mode allows controlling the exposure via a single control slider similar to the native camera app. Smart exposure mode produces cleaner results compared to the regular/default manual exposure control mode and helps to reduce the amount of noise/artifacts in shadow areas of the scene. NOTE: The individual controls for ISO and SS are not available in Smart Exposure Mode. The exposure can be adjusted by 8 stops (+/- 8) with the exposure slider.

Great app. However you should add a flat/log profile as requested by other users.
Yeah, flat profile and also have it for the 1080P 120 fps and 240 fps modes as well!

I just bought the app with my iPhone 14 pro don’t see the ProRes option in beast cam. Should have the feature since I bought the 256 GB so I don’t see why it’s not there. Maybe not updated for iPhone 14’s yet idk literally wasted 5 bucks just wanted to shoot ProRes 60 fps
In BeastCam have Raw now have ProRes but what don’t have ProRaw tks

Hello this seems to be a nice app. regarding Stitch Recording: can you change the lens (like wide to ultrawide on iphone 12) when the video recording is paused. this would be very great and could save a lot of work in post

I have external mic connected and the audio level is very poor. I have tested the same with moment and filmicpro. It's pretty good. Please rectify this bug.

Hi. Every product we sell comes with manual.
Also all of our products come fully assembled and all you need to do is insert your phone inside.

I found a issues that when I try to recording 4K 60 10bit hdr, I found the quality setting not work, whatever you set are low or beast, the output size are same. But I change to 8bit, it’s work.

hey, doesnt the smart exposure mode effect your shutter speed which will cause the footage to look blured or over sharp? I f yoy shoot 24FPS and the amrrt exposure will go to 160 shutter for example' or if i want to shoot 60 and do slow-motion in post

I have an iPhone 14 Pro, I can't seem to bring up the ProRes selector on the app. Am I doing something wrong? By the way, love your entire ecosystem and support.

WHAT IS THE PADLOCK LOCK SIGN FOR ??
The Shure MV88 is recognized by the app on iPhone 13, but only AAC audio format is available as an option and no other uncompressed formats. What could be causing this issue?
In case if you shoot in 10 bit HDR it is not available however in all other formats it should work wine. If you will need father assistance please contact our support at info@beastgrip.com

Hi, I found If you recording in the prores mode, you will get a SDR video, the color space only work in rec. 709, could you fix this issues in next update?
Great app but here's the deal…
If you have a DJI mic, Forget about it, it won't work it will not give you stereo left and right audio.
To achieve left and right separate audio you need to use the cable from Saramonic LC-C35...
I know this for a fact because it does work on other apps like, movie Pro, pro camera by moment and Protake.
BeastCam does not recognize the cable or the mic from DJI.
If anybody else has tried it and it works let me know I'd love to use this fantastic app with DJI Mi
I want this app but I really want log and flat profiles like in the moment app.
Honestly we think you don't need log or flat profile. You can achieve great results with regular profile :)

Awesome update, question, I have the 13 pro max 128gb, I notice that when I turn on ProRes it limits my recording to 1080p30 maximum. Is this hardware based or would your app allow to record at the higher resolution of 4k60?
Hi. Pro Res is limited by your device to 1080p. 128gb gets 1080p max. Here is a link please see section "video recording"

Hi. Yes you can but new lens will need new settings so it might interrupt the recording process

@@clifhellner1493 hey there. as a 30 + year cinematographer and Steadicam Operator, I know my way around cameras, support systems and lenses. I am NEW to using smartphones to capture video, but with the accessories from these cats, it really makes using the phone much easier. i have had no issues with any of the items, and as I said, i invested a lot of money into their ecosystem. you may be able to get similar accessories from different vendors for a cheaper cost, but for me convenience and customer support after the sale is most important. this is why i chose these cats after reviewing may other vendors who supply accessories for these smartphones. hope i have been able to help sir.
