How to name Spiro compounds

Numbering and naming of spiro compounds is somewhat different and again it depends on the type of cylclic rings involved in the structure. For hydrocarbon and heterocyclic spiro compounds numbering is similar. But for polycyclic spiro compounds, the numbering of polycyclic ring system is retained. In this video we will see how to spiro compounds.

Your explanation is very well...✨But (5.30 timing) answer is wrong... 9 carbon is present(one NH group is occupy one position) but your answer is decane..So change the mistake sir

That answer is: 8-Azaspiro[4.4]nonane...It is my opinion answer... Right or wrong?

Since Nitrogen is indicated as AZA, it is also counted just like carbon. So the total ring size is 10 hence we can use suffix -Decane. Hope it's clear, thanks for your post and interest on the video.
