When you're at that stage in life where the money to buy games isn't a problem but there just isn't enough free time in the day to play all the games you want to play lol
I’m looking for a grad job, working part time and I still feel like there isn’t enough time in the day lol. Too many good games coming out it feels like you’ve just gotta pick a few and hope you chose right
Totally agree with you on cross-saving. I want to buy a 2nd copy of Monster Hunter Rise on PC to play Sunbreak, but I'm not redoing the 100+ hours I've already put into the game. I really hope this feature becomes standard in the near future.
I really hope you're right about Dragon Quest XII and Visions of Mana being on the next Nintendo console. Not being able to play certain big titles has been the biggest downside of the Switch.
The Suikoden remakes, and spiritual Successor of that along with Dragon Quest XII and 3 HD2D are my most anticipated games! I also am excited for GranBlue Fantasy Relink, Paper Mario 1000YD, Visions of Mana, and FFVII Rebirth! That turn based Real time game at the end looks cool.
Bruh NGL the only thing I wanna see from Konami is another Castlevania game. Super pumped for the JRPGs coming though. Hades 2 is the top of my "looking forward to" list right now across all games.
I wonder if Persona 3 Reload (or it's definitive version) will come to a Nintendo console.. I mean.. Why it is releasing on PS4 and not on Switch? It's not like it's a hardware demanding game... I just got into the series starting with Persona 5 Royal on Switch and omg it's one of the bests games I've ever played. Maybe even better than Chrono Trigger and Earthbound, or Dragon Quest XI....
My most hyped games are Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy and Princess Peach Showtime! I’ve been holding out on playing 4-6 on 3ds out of hopes for a trilogy on switch and it’s finally almost here. I’m also so excited for Peach to get her own game after is long. She’s my favorite character!
Speaking of Metaphor, there are only 2 other games that come to mind that blend turn-based and action: 1 is Magic of Szcharazade for the Snes. 2nd is Kingdom Hearts Re:coded.
Nice list. I’d add the new professor Layton game, but a great list for sure. The Unicorn Overlord game has a $130 deluxe edition. My son preordered it.
Eiyuden chronicles hundred heroes IP isn't konami's it belongs to rabbit and bear studios , they dev's behind it are former konami staff who formed their own studio after creative differences
YEA!.. we will see if that Black Myth Wukong actually comes out August 2024. 👀 We've seen like 9 Chinese and Korean games over the last 9YRS!.. and not 1 of them has released. I"ll believe it when August get's here and it actually releases. 👀
PlayerEssence, Do you know if "Visions Of Mana" will be available on the original Switch OLED console in 2024, or only for the next generation Switch? I just checked my eShop and it's not on there....yet🤷!
Sclaing enemies in FF7 Rebirth ? Thats bad imo. I dont like scaling enemies. I want to one shot enemies or have a hard time against hard enemies. scaling enemies make progression meaningless
You mean because the character is a girl? I doubt it will go woke, one of the best things of the original was how respectful was with the Greek mythology with everything, the character designs, the conversations (the joke of zagreus being the same character than dionysius for example was a pretty great one) ... So I hope that you are wrong in this aspect or It would be very dissapointed in the developer (and i doubt that's the case as it's a pretty good one)
I was doing the dishes so I skipped #6's tag so when I looked at it, I actually said: "wait, that looks like vanillaware's style..." . Then a chill ran through my spine when I confirmed it's a new Vanillaware title!!! . Ant THEN my excitement went through the roof as I see a comeback to medieval RTS fights like Ogre Battle's (snes, N64)!! . Thanks for the info. Hoo boy it's been so long!!🥲
doubt DQ12 releases 2024, still dev issues. DQ3R seems more likely, DQ creator said they actually played it still WIP. Feb 2024 is too hectic, F for our wallets 💀
When you're at that stage in life where the money to buy games isn't a problem but there just isn't enough free time in the day to play all the games you want to play lol
As a college student with plenty of free time I feel this. I can only imagine the struggle 9-5 workers have to play all these games
I’m looking for a grad job, working part time and I still feel like there isn’t enough time in the day lol. Too many good games coming out it feels like you’ve just gotta pick a few and hope you chose right
Dude that’s life. Everything cost something; either money or time, seems like you can have one or the other but never both at the same time.
@@TheRetroCleric324lol 9-5. If work is always only that long...
I’m there right now and it sucks lol
P3 and FF7R , RE fantasiofor me 🔥
Yeah next year is looking great! Metaphor, Ff7 rebirth and Trails through daybreak being my highlights
Totally agree with you on cross-saving. I want to buy a 2nd copy of Monster Hunter Rise on PC to play Sunbreak, but I'm not redoing the 100+ hours I've already put into the game. I really hope this feature becomes standard in the near future.
What a shame metaphor and visions of mana won't get a switch version😢😢😢
switch 2 probably
Im stoked if Black Myth Wukong is coming to the switch. Looks like an impossible port but they've pulled off miracles before
I'll just wait for P3's definitive edition. I already have too many versions of this game along with too many copies of P5 lol
Is black myth wukong even coming to the switch?
I'm with you on your thoughts of princess peach. Seems like it could be a really good game
I really hope you're right about Dragon Quest XII and Visions of Mana being on the next Nintendo console. Not being able to play certain big titles has been the biggest downside of the Switch.
bro, many of the games you mentioned in this video aren't even RPGs...when tf will you get it right bro?!
Mistake: The card that comes up for black myth wukong is another code
grand blue fantasy, vision of mana, the suikoden 1 and 2 remaster, Luigi’s mansion 2, thousand year door it’s gonna be an awesome year for the switch
Wholesome video as always OJ.
great video brother
Bruh NGL the only thing I wanna see from Konami is another Castlevania game. Super pumped for the JRPGs coming though. Hades 2 is the top of my "looking forward to" list right now across all games.
Man! Not enough time for all these great games... awesome selection again Mr. OJ!
Wait a minute ....unicorn overlord is like ogre battle 64?!!!
i hope metaohor re:fantasio releases on switch or switch 2
I wonder if Persona 3 Reload (or it's definitive version) will come to a Nintendo console.. I mean.. Why it is releasing on PS4 and not on Switch? It's not like it's a hardware demanding game... OMG!! Love this list. Video goes straight into my CZcams Favorites. OJ, at 32:51 you said "number four" instead of "number one" 😅

I cant wait to see what is to come this coming year, in games, and I wonder if were going to have another booming year, in 2024.
Nice list. I’d add the new professor Layton game, but a great list for sure.
The Unicorn Overlord game has a $130 deluxe edition. My son preordered it.
i'm not sold on hades didn't like the first one probably won't like 2, saga is weird but quirky fun, metaphor re fantazio looking like a snack though
I never played the mana series BUT i will make sure to at least play this one
Visions of mana looks great but I’m gonna be pissed if it isn’t co op
SMT V Vengeance
Metaphor
Persona 3
SUIKODEN IZ GODDDDD… bow down…
Is Dragon Dogma 2 really coming to switch, because all of what I read so far, points that it wont.
Pretty sure Wukong is a Souls-like
Isn't Unicorn Overlord coming out in March?
Sad metaphor/persona 3re ain’t coming to switch :(
Nice list OJ, but for me, top 5 are:
1. Black Myth Wukong
2.Metaphor
3.FFVII Rebirth
4.Unicorn Overlord
5.Paper Mario TYD
Eiyuden chronicles hundred heroes IP isn't konami's it belongs to rabbit and bear studios , they dev's behind it are former konami staff who formed their own studio after creative differences
Final Fantasy 7 rebirth is coming to switch??????
YEA!.. we will see if that Black Myth Wukong actually comes out August 2024. 👀 We've seen like 9 Chinese and Korean games over the last 9YRS!.. and not 1 of them has released. I"ll believe it when August get's here and it actually releases. 👀
8:02 fix the title OJ. You had “Another Code” twice instead of “Black Myth Wukong”
PlayerEssence, Do you know if "Visions Of Mana" will be available on the original Switch OLED console in 2024, or only for the next generation Switch? I just checked my eShop and it's not on there....yet🤷!
How is he supposed to know?
While I don't now it still SHOULD be once the game is ready to be released.
I don’t like the spinning in the air combat à la Kingdom Hearts that I see in FFVII 😮😊
I'm a little pissed at Nintendo for not putting Paper Mario 64 on the Switch, like Nintendo what the hell?😠
dudes I cant find the hard copy of Star Ocean lol
final fantasy 7 rebirth in switch?
Lol naw
This is wrong infor myth wu kong is not comming to switch
Dragons Dogma 2 com on the Switch 🤔 .... What ?
Prince of persia comes out 18th demo comes out 11th
Princess Peach? Really? What are you a 13 year old girl? 😂
Sclaing enemies in FF7 Rebirth ? Thats bad imo. I dont like scaling enemies. I want to one shot enemies or have a hard time against hard enemies. scaling enemies make progression meaningless
The new Prince of Persia looks horrible.
“Japanese rpg”. Is that like jrpgs?
Too bad hades went woke
Yep you knew it would.
Ugh. That blows
You mean because the character is a girl? I doubt it will go woke, one of the best things of the original was how respectful was with the Greek mythology with everything, the character designs, the conversations (the joke of zagreus being the same character than dionysius for example was a pretty great one) ...
So I hope that you are wrong in this aspect or It would be very dissapointed in the developer (and i doubt that's the case as it's a pretty good one)
how did it go woke?
:throws you in trash: how dare you say paper Mario is better then Mario rpg the classic!!!
Блин, ну и где тут игры? Ни одной классной игрушки нет.
Metaphor looks so terrible. Its like every JRPG ever, all at once, just vomited onto a PS Vita.
I was doing the dishes so I skipped #6's tag so when I looked at it, I actually said: "wait, that looks like vanillaware's style..."
.
