Sometimes it's hard with parents. My mom also sends me links to articles, like an interview with a de-transitioner, perhaps she still hopes that I'll relent.
Another amazing interview, thanks Lenka for making it possible and many thanks to Leo for sharing. I learned a lot about situation of trans people in Moldova. At the end of the day is all about letting people just live their lifes as they want to, I hope I will live long enough to see this change in the world.
P.S.: I was a little disappointed there was no zvoneček-blbeček rhyme at the end, so here you go: "the only way you'll end up in hell is if you subscribe without a bell" 😅 (loose translation hehe)

Hey, a quick tip: you're uploading videos exported as HDR (you can see it in the youtube video wuality setting - it says 1080p HDR), this is not necessary for these simple talking videos, and it can hurt the viewing experience for some people. For example, on some phones/youtube app versions, the app turns the screen brightness to a maximum, which can be very unpleasant when watching videos at night. On other devices, the colors kinda flicker, when the user swiches to/from landscape mode. These are just quirks of the mobile app, the web interface works fine, so you wouldn't see it on desktop. The fix is simple - change the export settings of your editing software so that it doesn't produce HDR videos (most sw should already have a "youtube/web 1080p" preset, that should be about right (i'm not a video editor, i don't have much experience). You're welcome.
I export videos deliberately as HDR (and I know what it means), because i like it more that way. On most devices it is ok, the old ones will eventually be replaced, but my videos will stay forever.

Zdravím Vás, děkuji za pořady a Vaše nasazení, osmělila jsem se napsat prosbu-máte krásnou Aj, ale nevládnu angličtinou dostatečně 7:52 7:56 a prosím o radu, jak si přepis přeložit do češtiny přímo- jde to? Nebo můžete, paní Lenko, nějak vložit překlad? Hodně sil a krásné léto 🍀
Mluví o tom, že jediná možnost, jak změnit v Moldavsku jméno, je nechat si od doktora udělat ‘papír na hlavu’ (s diagnózou ‘transexuality’) a s tímto pak jít na soud žalovat přímo stát. Takto to tam prý lidé musejí dělat.
Dobrý den, zajistit profesionální titulky do češtiny u hodinového videa by stálo mezi 5 a 10tis. Kč. Taky mě občas kontaktují dobrovolníci, ale moc to nedopadlo. Buď byl překlad hodně nekvalitní a nebo absolutně nedokázali odhadnout časovou náročnost. Je to fakt šíleně moc práce. Zároveň já jsem už na samé hranici svých možností a už jsem přestala dávat videa úplně každý týden, bylo to vražedné tempo. I kdyby ta videa někdo překládal, tak si neumím představit, že bych si našla čas ještě na nějakou koordinaci a kontrolu toho překladu. CZcams ale umí automaticky generované titulky, není to dokonalé, ale mělo by to stačit k porozumění. Nefunguje to ale na mobilních aplikacích, ale pouze pokud si video pustíte přes počítač. Kažopádně překlady těchto anglických videí jsou moc náročné a prostě občas některá videa budou v angličtině, no.
