Have you tried the Pentagon Six TL yet? A 6x6 medium format SLR camera, which was produced almost unchanged in the former GDR from 1966 - 1992. The camera has interchangeable viewfinders (prism viewfinder, light shaft viewfinder and magnifier viewfinder), is very handy and also visually a beauty. This would basically be comparable to the Pentax 67, only a lot cheaper. In terms of price, the Pentacon Six TL can be had very cheaply, around between €200 - €500 depending on condition and seller. I can definitely recommend it to you. 😁
Small tip, do not let the film transport lever snap back, but move it back slowly.
I have always wanted to try one but no I personally haven't yet. I know the glass is great and they are a great budget option for sure, Eventually I will get around to getting/trying one for sure.
Sweet collection, I just picked up a Franka Solida III, as prices go it was under average price for a good, clean folding camera. Plus I just picked up a mint Watameter for it & a Argus C-3 that was gifted to me. I’d love a TLR, but they are all pretty pricey.
solid lineup. Yeah I think now most people just assume a TLR is expensive and list them high even though they have no idea the different models or quality. There are some yashica models that are around 100 last time I checked and still get great images.
An interesting 6x7 Twin lens camera is the Omegaflex M. It has interchangeable lenses, backs and viewfinders. It is part of the Koni-Omega family. Pretty rare, a bit of beast, especially with the 135mm or 180mm lenses.

@@graham_white Here's another oddball medium format camera: The Norita. It is a 6x6 SLR with an 80mm f2.0 lens know as the medium format Noctilux. There is also the Rittreck 66 that takes the same lens.
really nice collection - and super jealous of your deal on the RB67, thought I got mine cheap at ~400 bucks in really good condition with the 180mm lens! on the Mamiya Press, I got one for the same reason as you (my buddy and I built a 3D printed Cameradactyl Brancopan which also takes Mamiya Press lenses) and found it super fun to use on its own, too - once you get over the bulkiness, that is
The Cameradactyl line is great! function was I think they are fantastic, not a huge fan of color or look but those can be changed if you know what you are doing of course.

Now also HAD to get a japanese version, the Topcoflex, great lenses - and the Rolleiflex Automat like yours (probably the transport is just gummed). I know, it’s popular for Vivian Meier, but have look at the images of Nina Leen who usually used one just like yours for her professional work for Life magazine. Will be looking forward to your experience with the Mamiya Press…
Haha exactly. Yeah you can’t beat the results across the board for that line. Mine skips which makes me think loose gear or broken teeth in gear (hopefully not) everything turns smoothly. And yes! I really do need get a roll into that mamiya press for sure
Some really nice cameras there, Graham, luckily I've got quite a few of them, so I know they're great, and I don't have to be jalous, the only problem now is availability and prices on film.

I was very close to getting a Fuji 680 Camera, but I stayed with my Hasselblad 2000 FC.

You do not need a prism viewfinder for Hasselblad (beware of those russian Kiev gear, it may not fit Hasselblad 100% correct and can do damages !!!), get a later versions of a waist level finder which have the best magnification and get a Acute-Matte Focusing Screen. The Hasselblad have a full mirror which do not vignette heavy when using macro or long tele Lenses, the 200/2000-series Hasselblad and
the 501CM, 503 CW, 503 CWD, 553 ELX and 553 ELD also have full mirrors. I had the 2000 FC which I loved very much, because it can both use Lenses with built-in shutter and F Lenses without shutter but with larger apertures. I can recommend the Distagon 50mm 2.8, the Planar 110mm 2.0, the Tele-Tessar 350mm 4.0, the Mutar 2x (works great on the 110mm 2.0), also the Macro-Planar 120mm 4.0 which I still have with the 501 CM Camera.
thanks for all the info! Yeah I need to get a waist finder but can't justify the cost right now. Good to know about the Russian gear, this one is a bit loose so it doesn't seem to be at any risk of damaging but I will definitely be taking a closer look now.
@@graham_white Hey just grab the latest waist level finder an acute matte screen and some of the priciest shutterless F lenses ,simples only a couple Grand 🤷🏽♂
