  • Do you have guests with long hair that want to switch to their style, but keep the length? The ‘Hush Cut’ is a perfect cut for guests looking to add a bit of edge to their longer hair & have a style. Tune into this class to learn to create extreme texture & movement, while building a strong shape in silhouette.
    *2-3 Things You'll Learn:*
    1. Learn how to section the hair based off head shape, to help identify what elevation you will choose for each area.
    2. See how to create a strong silhouette with layers to give volume and movement.
    3. Discover texturizing with purpose using a blunt shear.
    *Technical Breakdown:*
    Step 1:
Start by sectioning a small triangle in the front, corner of the eye to corner of the eye. Take a vertical section from the high point of the head to the top of the ear. Make a horizontal section at the partial right where the fringe section ends to the ear, making you side area. Continue taking the horizontal line, but start to dip and round as you reach the back of the head and draw to the opposite side. Clip away the side area. You should be left with the crown and top area. Isolate and Clip separately.
    Step 2:
Take vertical sections in the back and nape area. Elevate the hair straight out 90 degrees horizontally cutting with a diagonal finger angle with volume to the bottom. Do this with a moving guide around the entire back and nape. Over direct to the previous section right behind the ear to save length.
    Step 3:
Repeat the same elevation and finger angle for the side areas, this time over direct last section near the face to save length.
    Step 4:
For the fringe, cut guide at center front just at the top of the lip. Take the right side and over direct to the opposite corner of the eye. Slightly lift out of natural to graduate diagonally. Your finger position will be diagonal parallel to the part and cut. Repeat on opposite side.
    Step 5:
In the crown area take a small piece of hair from the high point of the head and cut a guide just above the occipital bone. Taking vertical sections. Elevate up diagonally above the horizontal 90. After the first section is complete continue through the crown area while over directing to the previous section.
    Step 6:
In the top area take entire right side holding the vertical & elevate diagonally above the horizontal 90 & over direct to center front. Tour guide will come from your fringe. Your finger position will remain vertical and the finger angle is slightly diagonal. Repeat on opposite side & blend.
    Step 7:
Blow-dry for volume and slice out any extra weight from the inside out using the artist series slide cutting shears.
    List of Tools Used:*
    1. Artist Series Shear 6.25""
    2. Artist Series Slide Cutting Shear
    3. Light Ionic Blow Dryer - Sea Smoke
Signature Series Thermal Round Brush 1.5”

Your hair cut is great 😌
the problem is , experience, hairstyle or hairdressers they know what are you doing .unfortunately the new hairdressers they will be confused and have a hard time to follow you.they have no experience. You need to at least complete one side of the head (haircut )before you move to the next section so the new hairdresser or newly out of beauty school can follow you and benefit your wonderful class .
