- During question period on May 30, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ducked direct questions from Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre on if he'll acquiesce on opposition demands to drop former governor general David Johnston from his role investigating allegations of foreign interference.
Trudeau must go!
Supporters of the PPC have an important decision to make next election:
1) Pool your votes with the supporters of the Conservative Party to gain enough seats to form the government and unseat Trudeau, or;
2) Vote PPC and as with the last election, likely gain not a single seat.
If you detest the Conservatives, surely you must detest Trudeau more. Voting with your conscience is noble, but there is also a time in History to vote strategically.
You will never find someone who 100% aligns with your values. But even if it's only 30% overlap with your position, it's better than the 0% you will get if we allow another liberal government.

The point of Public Inquiries is restore public trust in our institutions. That's the point. Does anyone here feel any of this investigation to be transparent or restore your trust that everything is transparent to the Canadian people? Public inquiries are not well suited to matters involving top secret intelligence. For national security reasons, few can be trusted with state secrets. Obviously PP can not even trust himself with such information. Very cowardly & child-like.

QUESTION: Why does members of Parliament needs special clearance in the first place to views government documents and meetings? All members should have access and have privacy agreements as members of Parliament. Public release of classified information deemed valuable to the Canadian public can be done through courts or the Senate.
