It was awesome to meet you that day. Thank you for taking a picture with me and my wife, jamie
I hope something good happens to each person who is reading this ❤
Thank you
It would be good if I got assistance before my electricity was shut off😢
@@samanthaanderson8524 I hope that happens for you. Have you contacted the power company to see what is available?
The way you are pronouncing Nittany is sending me over the edge lol
Also Reese’s 😂
@@nataliecrow6533How is “Reese’s” supposed to be pronounced? Every commercial since the beginning has pronounced it the way Jacob has.
@@FDSixtyNine no commercial from Hershey has ever pronounced Reese’s as reee seees. Not once. Because that’s not how it’s spelled and that’s not how it’s pronounced.
Same 😂
I didn't notice Reese's because my brain seized up after the seventh Nit-tanny.
Jacob, if you haven’t done it yet, you should take the trolley tour sometime. It takes you around the town of Hershey, tells you how Milton Hershey got started and it talks all about the Milton Hershey school. I think you would enjoy the trolley tour.
Sounds like a great thing to do while there. I have never been there but would love to go. ❤
My mom was born in Wilkes-Barre and I would like to see that again someday. Went as a child but don't remember any of that part
The trolley is awesome. My husband and I rode it a couple years ago
I was very fortunate to have worked there at Hersheypark for the summer of 2018. Best summer I ever had. And yes the circus tent was the original spot for the carousel, Hershey moved it up front when they made Chocolatetown area.
Love your videos. I have trouble with crowds so it's wonderful to follow you through your videos. Thank you ❤
The tent was where the carousel was before they built the Chocolate Town section of the park.
Did you know there is a Hershey restaurant in the park that has delicious food where they put a little chocolate in everything? You should try it sometime! How do you go to Hershey and not eat any chocolate?? I live on the other side of Pennsylvania but would rather be in Florida, lol 😊
Back in the early 60s, there was a fun house at Hershey Park. I understand from my mom that they had a laughing Sal. She hated laughing Sal and was thrilled when someone broke in a threw Sal into the creek.
Oh Jacob!! We love your videos - Nittany Lion! Penn Staters everywhere were groaning. 😂
We are thankful for your two thumbs up appreciating our mascot!
Nittany rhymes with Brittany. ❤❤❤❤❤
It's pronounced Jaaa-kob!
You're right, the carousel used to be under that tent. They moved it when tore down the old entrance and added Chocolatetown.
9:28 As someone that have been to this park before a bunch of times, that tent used to be where the carousel was before they moved it near the entrance. Then again, the park entrance used to look way different before 2020 so there's that.
Those 80s looking snow globes were really cool. ❤
There is a Laughing Sal at the Silver Beach Carousel in St. Joseph, Michigan. She is a little hard to hear with the carousel music, but she does laugh! 😅
I went there a couple of weeks ago and I met Reese and he’s so cute!
IKR?? He is!
You actually found a Mr. and Mrs. Laughing Sal at Caufield's Novelty in Louisville. You just looked at them and said they were scary. When i was there last year I was talking with the owner and he turned them on for us. He said he got them from a closed park but i forget where he said. He restored them with a friend. Next time you are in Louisville, go back and check them out, it may be one of the only remaining male Laughing Sals left.
20:48
"How's your nest building going?"
"Pretty good, pretty good."
Thank you Jacob for another great video.
I grew up not far from Hershey use to go to park in the 60's when rides were individually ticketed. Also use to tour the actual chocolate factory the smells in the factory were amazing. They didn't build the chocolate ride until later. Only main coaster they had was the wooden Comet
It is very nice of you for sending a postcard every once in awhile thank you from Topaz Inyka your fan
Soon as you said carpet bagger pressed penny instant Etsy checkout!!
I love your videos. You never let us down. 😊 You're the most entertaining vlogger on CZcams. Never ever boring man. 😅 I enjoy all your videos.
As usual love your videos thanks for letting us be a part of this experience your awesome Jacob
We literally just missed you at Hersey.. we were there Saturday 8/17.. one day we will cross paths..
I find it ironic that one of my great grandmothers talked more fondly about this place than me or my siblings
Thanks for visiting Hershey! Come back for Dark Nights! Estate of Evil is the new House, and Creatured Uncaged is gone (it was where the construction is now...there's a new expanded scare zone over there though).
Fun facts: Chocolate World is not the flagship store for Hersheypark...actually owned by different companies and not affiliated at all. CW is owned by The Hershey Company (the actual choc company, hence the special chocolates and "factory tour" there); HP is owned by Hershey Entertainment & Resorts.
I’m so bummed we missed you. We are passholders. And we didn’t get to the park till 4pm yesterday. My oldest daughter is a huge fan. Our house loves your videos
Hershey nuggets. Milk chocolate with almonds and toffee. I'm hooked. I can't stop eating them!
The red white and blue tent was the shelter for the PTC before the moved it.
Nittany. Nit-nee.
I was looking away from my screen when he said that and didn't even realize what he was trying to say at first.
😂
Nah. Aren't you familiar with popular singer Brit-tany Spears?
@@stevencbyers I thought he was saying Tiffany Lion!!! lol
Christmas time is nice there too.
You are correct! The big tent in the middle of the park used to cover the carousel. I was so bummed when they moved it with the remodel.
Thanks for the video 😅
Thanks to you, Jacob, I went to HersheyPark for the first time last October and had a SPECTACULAR time! Thank you for visiting it again...this time I was actually able to REMEMBER my being someplace you are again. :) CONGRATS on 500k!!!!
Hi carpetbagger! I was there in November! I love you videos!
HEY kislux !! I have been watching you for years and im so proud of where you have made it! I love you so much! Also thanks for making my day
I love this place! I went in 2017 when I was 7, and got a No-Bot plushie and a Hershey plushie at Chocolate World.
Wonderful show again! 🎉 well dpne!
The museum and gardens are also a must see!!!
Be glad you weren't there on Saturday. I've never seen it more crowded. Sure wish I would have been there when you were there, would have loved to meet you.( Btw...Nittany is pronounced like NIT-nee) Thanks for visiting Hershey!
Love this video carpetbagger and keep up with collecting pressed penny's and look after yourself health wise.
It's always amazing to see another amazing video carbagger
What a cool ride! 6:06
Thank you for what you do.
Awesome video, Jacob. Love the theme parks. Have a wonderful weekend and take care, my friend, and as always, safe travels.
Good Afternoon " YA ALL " Jacob the Carpetbagger..!!
9:15 you were correct in thinking a carousel was under there. that's actually where the carousel at the entrance used to be before they rebuilt the entrance and it was moved in 2020
I remember as a child growing up in Oklahoma, there was a laughing Sal at Spring lake amusement park. You can still find some vintage footage of the park. I remember she was the center attraction of their dark ride, and her body would move back and forth as she laughed. It really scared me, and fascinated me at the same time!
As much as I love Reeses this looks like a pure blast. I must go and experience the Reeses fun. This was a fun Video for sure. Nothing but Reeses fun.
I was here for my senior class trip in 2018. And I've been trying to get back there for over 6 years and counting
Loved this adventure. The park is massive. I’m going to date myself but the last time I was there it wasn’t nearly as big and the cost of admission was $12.50. 😂 Thanks Jacob for another fun adventure.
I bought my carpetbagger pressed penny.
My senior trip was Hershey park and we went the morning after prom just riding coasters hung over in 90 degree weather 😂 had a blast tho I ❤ Hershey
love it when you come to Pennsylvania so many thing to do and explore thank you for all you do!!!!!
The first time I went to Hershey Park, you got to tour the actual factory.
All the best to you and jen.
26:31 That’s actually called a chute-the-chutes ride, though it operates on the same principble as a log flume ride. My home park, Six Flags Great America, used to have one. You got more wet standing on the bridge than you did on the ride.
I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
im pretty sure zak bagans also has a laughing sal at his museum in vegas! i think i remember seeing one there!!
I would love to go back to Hersheypark someday
Go to Turkey Hill Experience while your in the area. You can make video of your new ice cream flavor you helped do. Ice cream tasting samples. Tea and lemonade tasting. Make your own flavored ice cream to eat in lab. Try different flavors of tea from around the world. Then go just down road to Amish restaurant and see animals outside. Thanks for the memories. Last time I went there was 7 years ago.
Yes!!! I truly miss Turkey Hill. I was ostracized by my Breyer's-loving dad for embracing Turkey Hill 😊
Another great video
Kudos to your CZcams Channel, Jacob! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
👋👍 very amazing and awesome
We live 20 mins from Hershey and have season passes so we are very familar. The way you pronounce Reese's probably makes most people around the area roll their eyes like us.
Hi Jacob I love your visits to Hershey world.. I don't remember seeing the park before.!!! I see you have found yet another friend and good In tanny lion. XXXX All the best mate take care.
There was a laughing Sal at Lakeside Amusement Park in Denver when I was younger but not sure if it is still there. The park has seen better days but not so well now.
Thank yiu❤
Next time you gotta go up the stairs in the big gift shop, up there is the choclatier restaurant, which is neat, but you can just walk through there and then there's a neat patio outside with some old ride cars, and some neat views of the park below.
Awesome video Jacob! I always go to Hershey’s Chocolate World and Hershey park all the time. I do silly faces on the tour ride. 😂😂
I was at Hershey Park way, way back in the 70s. All I can remember is free chocolate was everywhere and I loved the roller coaster. Also, I got a stomach ache from all the free chocolate, and to this day, if the subject of Hershey Park comes up, my mother will say I TOLD you so!
Knit-uh-knee lion, not Knit-tanny lion.
Haven't been to Hershey Park in a couple years... I live about 3 hours away. I am going to try to get there next year... gotta still go on all the new rides.
2:21 you have a much better sense of self-control than I probably will ever have. If I came here I would just lose my mind.
My favorite place
8:32 “It all started with a chocolate bar”
Yay Hershey park! I think one day should be food and drinks at Hershey park and the next day the rides. At Hershey lodge, they have chocolate beer on tap (I think they still do anyways). With that said, I don’t advise drinking and then immediately getting on laugh track storm runner or any of the other Hershey park coasters
Pressed pennies are a nice cheap way to remember trips to amusement parks and other places. I like them and refrigerator magnets.
Idk about cheap. I spent $200 between Disney and Universal filling multiple books lol. I went feral when I realized just how many machines they have there.
I’m going to Hershey park tomorrow actually thanks for the information
You also missed the monorail and cable cars. Park didn't look busy neither, surprised for august.
Hershey Park is awesome!!! Love the old times cars
Tidal Force is 100 feet tall; much taller than those original chute-the-chutes built in the early '90s. Massive wave!
Live this video but u were making me laugh with your pronunciation of the NITTANY Lion (actually pronounced like: “NIT-KNEE”) Penn State-er’s were dying!!! lol. Love that you visited Hershey!! So awesome to see you in my backyard!! ❤
It's funny that You posted this video today 😸 I actually bought a Hershey bar today to eat while watching Your video tonight 🍫 little did I know that my treat would be appropriate for Your adventure today 🙌🌟😹 💖
As always, Thank You for bringing Us along with You Jacob 🙏💝😻
You should get a corvette and drive it around the country.
That was where the carousel was until pretty recently.
And it’s NIT - ta - NEE
I never got to go to the park(did try but sadly they were closed, but I absolutely love Hershey Chocolate World.
Awesome Hersheypark Visit! You should go to Six Flags Great Adventure in NJ since it's the 50th Anniversary!!
Jacob, please visit near by attractions!! While your in the area , always like a Gettysburg video, Dutchwonderland , Lake Mount Park , Lincoln caverns, there is plenty more I didn't mention
I'd like to see a video at the end of the year of all your pressed pennies!
Thanks for going there, Jacob. I always wanted to see what it looked like there
Hello from Canton Ohio. They museum you mention MCK is right down the street from me.
Hershey Park Happy!!!!!!!! Reliving my youth. I like to get tilted AND scrambled, do I need help? 😊 I do miss the Giant Wheel, however, a true icon. Thanks Jacob!
Pretty cool def wanted some chocalte watching this adventure. Thank you Starship America , aka Carpet Bagger. Thanks
I would love to go there
I love Hersheypark. You can see where my house is from the Kissing Tower. When my daughter was little, we always had season passes to the park. I grew up in Harrisburg and went to the park often. I remember when there was no admission fee and you had to get tickets to ride the rides. Ah memories...
The red tent was the former location of the HP carousel when the area was called Carousel Circle. When the new Chocolatetown area opened the carousel was moved there.
I like how that have a lot of intertwining rides.
i went here as a highschooler with my folks. loved the factory. you could smell the chocolate being made all over. my mom's friend visits every now and then to see HER family as well. good xs
The Great Bear roller coaster there at Hershey Park is my absolute favorite ride!
Absolutely look forward to your videos. Please check out the McKinley museum in Canton Ohio. Laughing Sally was still functioning last time we were there. You could also check out the haunted school house in Akron Ohio. Thanks for all the entertainment.
