man, august… your editing and camera skills are on a whole new level. no-one’s putting in the extra effort to make it look tight, your content is orchestrated like a symphony.. well done.🤘🏼
The simulation of what would happen with the ropes and chipper was a good clip . I know you put effort into making it; you should have explained it and made it at least a minute long. I’m sure everyone that watched it didn’t follow what was going on; I had to rewind it and watch it again .
You two were just like kids in a candy shop with unlimited spending ability. Flying up, swinging out, just hanging in air. Love the ballet of limbs dropping where you want em. Spectacular introduction to the New Year! Stay safe.
The synergy of you and your crew is amazing. Haven't seen a more productive crew on CZcams or in person in my life. Kudos to your crew for having the work ethics and professionalism they posses.
It basically is a TV show. D we definitely keep it how it is if they made into a TV show it would no longer August's editing an his master piece you have to have all these camera men an it would get ruined just like it die for guilty of treeson. Eastside tried to go all big TV look at them now lol.
With the hard work from the crew and extra time it takes to build these videos I feel compelled to comment, even though I don’t have anything to say that hasn’t been said already. Great job guys, excellent video and looking forward to the next one!
Looks like a fun one! Thanks for going out on a limb for all of us to get the good shots. Hope you and your family had a merry Christmas and happy new year’s.
Just amazing work the two of you do in the tree. plus the ground crew keeping everything straight. 5 ropes to keep track of and keeping everyone safe. It's poetry in motion, I could watch you for hours. Be safe, God Bless.
You are my inspiration bro. Im still a skiddish climber but getting a lot better. Making swings and climbing higher and higher, you’ve helped me so much over the past few years. Thanks again amigo
It's Jan 3rd. I was looking at last night's radar, and the blob of rain over the pnw, thinking it'll be a while before we see the monkey beaver working. Man was I wrong! Thanks for keeping this one in the magazine! It's nice having help in those big trees, even if it's just for good company. It gets lonely and frustrating up there alone.
Wow, I had to go back to the start of minute 11 and watch that again. Incredible piece of video. Be safe, happy and prosperous in 2022. Regards from Scotland to the whole crew and to all the guys and gals who make their living among the trees.
I just love your videos, especially the amount of teaching you put in for us old climbers ( that me anyway). I did crush courses to get on the road quickly, years back. Most of what you demonstrate is new to me, from gear to felling, climbing, rigging etc etc. Thank you so much for your sharing. Love your equipment and set ups. Way to go Monkey beavers.👍💯
To see vlogs like this is why I keep watching you guys and as a small time guy in the U.K. it’s helped me a lot In changing my techniques so big it up for sharing all your experience with us
Happy New Year . I liked the part about setting up camera angles or what you have to do to get them. It looked like you wanting to have more fun at work .Great job
Thank you for putting together clear, well recorded videos of what tree work looks, feels, and sounds like. Others try to copy you but don't come close! Thank you for showing the youtube world that this is dangerous work but can be fun too. No unnecessary swearing (haven't heard any actually) through difficult conditions i.e., rain, snow, ants, wind at a hundred feet in the air! Good Job and much respect!
The planning, coordination and execution of this removal is amazing, to say nothing of the years of experience and skill you have. Your tree-range camera work and post-editing creativity cannot be ignored. This is a complete package - entertaining and informative. Bravo, dudes!
Amazing TEAM you ALL are 💪 Absolutely LOVED this video…. Had me reliving 2006… Fun times up in those MONSTERS in Richmond Virginia. I’ll be following your ADVENTURES from now on…. TOTAL RESPECT for the AMAZING OPERATION and BEAUTIFUL demonstration of PROFESSIONALS AT WORK 💪💪💪💪
I just ran into one of these a few months back. I was told by the homeowner the power company topped it a bunch of years back. Man I wish I had one of those motorized jobbers to get me to the top that was a killer to climb. Great job guys I love the videos keep up the good work!
It is amazing the skill with which you pick apart the tree in a methodical manner. Very impressive. That is one strange looking tree. Great video. Thanks.
Hey, August!! Another great vid.... but before jumping to pt 2... I took that chipper/rope demo and replayed it at 0.25 speed... and Man! that would be the first thing to show a new man on 'ground crew'....!! If that doesn't take the 'cockiness' out of someone, nothing would! Awesome... now, gotta get to Pt2....
Love the Camaraderie between august and Damian. The team work with your crew is on point as well. August does go above and beyond to make great content.
I have cut many Ponderosa in Colorado…never saw one grow 5 new leads after a topping cut…usually they linger- stall out and die…Your Oregon Pondi there really surprised me…now I have worked Eastern White Pine in Michigan and Illinois and they grow amazing 2nd crowns after a break out from wind and snow…or cuts…fascinating. I am still thinking about your story of your past…more respect from me in addition to what I felt before…courage. hope, believe…intent…keeping it real…hold steady and steadfast good friend!
I think there are a lot of people that just don’t understand how much effort you an crew put into these vids an the many that do understand greatly appreciate you. Mine an many other hats off to you guys 👊👊
mmm. -25 degrees here in Canada, i got monétaire to collect, laundry to do, saw to prep, phone call to return and à lot more but i am watching this no matter what thanks to the team
Tell Damien to convert his 201 with the panther. Couple of tweaks on the tuning and it'll blow the husky out the water. I did mine and haven't looked back 👌
Great video fellas, I'd much rather see the team work together up in a tree.. for safety, for efficiency, and for commrodery. The experience is best shared. Plus the awesome camera angles yall are getting are superb
I've topped a pine before. I used the top as my Christmas tree. It was obstructing my dad's view from our cabin up the hill. I threw a rope up over the first limb -- about 15 or 20 feet off the ground. I climbed up to about 40 or 50+ feet with no safety ropes and used a bow saw. When I was done I stood on the stump of the trunk on one foot and raised my saw. My brother took my picture from up the hill. What a dangerous thing to do, but that is what young men do. Within a few years you couldn't tell because of the way the tree continued it's height with its remaining side limbs.
Tag team tree work, awesome Damien and August!👍 Your videos have so much fun in them! Thank you for all you do to make the videos with us CZcams watchers in mind! ❤ - Kim
This was a funky awesome tree job to show what you folks do! Who said there's small trees in Grants Pass Jacob? Could've used you up there, or filming, or chipping
The best thing about August & Damien’s videos is not the content. Yes, it’s stellar. But plenty of guys post excellent content here these days. The reason we love your videos is because of the way you guys interact. Men who respect each other and are passionate about being the best possible team.
I'd say cousin Jethro needs a much larger lifting device, either that or lay off the frosted flakes, and go with straight Grape Nuts. Lol just kidding, about the Grap Nuts. Excellent team work from all positions from CZcams's point of view, and we thank ya'll for your hard work on our behalf.
Wow, I'm sitting here watching and wondering how the heck are they getting this footage, then a second later you show us, thanks for that. The content, footage, editing, music and commentary are all just excellent in these vids you create. Really enjoy watching, stay safe guys!
Monkey kickin limbs off the 5 headed monster haha, thats a cool tree to get under your belt. We have a 12-14 headed fir i deadwooded here a while back. It was a pretty cool climb aswell. Solid work, stay safe!!! Thanks for sharing!!
Hey guys! I am the person who never comments. Yet thoroughly appreciates all your amazing encouragement, inspiration, and totally trustworthy good vibe awesome videos. Thank you very much!!
Hmmm we got dropped again. Weeeeeeeeeeeee it was fun August - lets do it again. Thank you for the video - trees grow so tall out there. The midwest doesn't seem to have that many tall ones. Hope the crew, family and yourself are doing well. Lovely day here - 2 F last night. High of 15F with -10 forecasted later in the week. Stay safe and waiting for the new video.
It amazes me you don't have 100k subscribers yet with the quality of your videos, the great content/insight and great crew. Some of the best stuff on CZcams imo, I appreciate the time and effort you put into it! #hunicketo100k
Love your videos and can't wait for part 2 of this .I would love to have some trees this big in the UK to work on 😜. I'd like to know what that nifty device was u used to access the tree so fast ?👌perhaps u could show and tell in one of your videos 🙏
This channel is the best blend of entertainment and education out there. *starts the 4200 fake email quest to bring August to 100K subs and the silver play button*
August, for those of us abroad who are interested in trees as well as arb' work would you mind dropping in the name of the trees you are dealing with. Here in Scotland our tallest tree (a Dougie) is 217 feet tall and most are very much shorter than that so to see you dealing with what to us looks like very large trees is fascinating. Knowing their names would allow us to look them up, see their growth habits etc and fill in the gaps for guys like me who are fascinated by trees from seed to mill (or chipper). It's just a thought, I won't take umbrage if it adds to your video producing or narrative work load.
Please tell everyone to get out when you are cutting or trees and logs so no one gets hurt it's for all safety reasons you don't want to be cutting bushes and branches and big logs and fall it can cause accidents it can cause injuries or even death we don't want that thank you for your beautiful videos
Boy, the things I _have to_ watch, to keep y'all, entertained! Next thing you know, I'll have to watch something, like pilot-training, or something - you boys may have to take up a hobby, or such-other - I don't know, if I can keep being worked, like this! 😆 😜 Cheers- ☮
Can't wait to see you guys deal with the main stem. Is it going to be like the time you bust out the big double porta wrap thing and monster ropes. ( That was a crazy video ) TREE WORK WITH STRONG RIGGING. 👍 GOOD VIDEO
Already subscribed, liked immediately. I've wondered at times whether you're overwhelmed with comments. Do you really want us to comment everytime? You're my absolute favorite channel. If I don't comment, know that I'm still right there with all of you guys...
I think I read all the comments but I don’t always have time to reply. I would have to hire someone I think. I appreciate the comments. I always look forward to yours.
man, august… your editing and camera skills are on a whole new level. no-one’s putting in the extra effort to make it look tight, your content is orchestrated like a symphony.. well done.🤘🏼
Well said. Love the music and the recap. Education and entertainment.
It's like a little movie ! I'm learning editing rn and it is so hard even filming is so hard , he's got it down ! Always enjoyable videos
You definitely show great skills and teamwork. Making it look easy. Who could work relaxed at those heights! Stay safe. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Climbing and swinging around in the trees looks like so much fun.
The synergy of you and your crew is amazing. Haven't seen a more productive crew on CZcams or in person in my life. Kudos to your crew for having the work ethics and professionalism they posses.
Absolutely brilliant, so entertaining. You guys should have your own TV program
It basically is a TV show. D we definitely keep it how it is if they made into a TV show it would no longer August's editing an his master piece you have to have all these camera men an it would get ruined just like it die for guilty of treeson. Eastside tried to go all big TV look at them now lol.

We disagree about Chevys but love your videos! Always learning something from you.

Must say, this was quite entertaining... a bit of humor. looking forward to part 2
A true Ballet done by a gifted troupe of performers all done gracefully in harm's way with perfection.
thank you! The big limb cuts you were describing were fascinating and great information. Basically, the limb does a barber chair.
Bravo! That was a monster for sure!!
That demo of a rope getting in a Chipper was crazy! That happens so FAST you'd have almost no time to react.
Love the extra effort.
Y’all rock
Awesome as always
Thank you for taking us along
The planning, coordination and execution of this removal is amazing, to say nothing of the years of experience and skill you have. Your tree-range camera work and post-editing creativity cannot be ignored. This is a complete package - entertaining and informative. Bravo, dudes!
I love you all!!! It is like watching a well choreographed ballet in the trees! Monkey-Beaver does Swan Lake!!
It's like watching dancing in the trees. Such respect for you guys

Kinda neat seeing you men go at it hard and fast with closed captioned explanations as to what was going on. Well done!
Another great video and love how you both work so effortlessly and teach as well
That was awesome. I always enjoy your videos August, you great teacher. Thank you.

One of your best videos yet. You can't tell me that that wasn't fun! Loved it
This was a funky awesome tree job to show what you folks do! Who said there's small trees in Grants Pass Jacob? Could've used you up there, or filming, or chipping
Trust me this is heavily edited. That tree is tiny ;)

Thank you from Scotland 🏴🏴
I’m watching your video and the camera angle is so cool made my stomach turn.
You and Damian must be mountain climbers as well. That tree looks like Medusa's Heads.
