It looks bulky at first sight, however this is one of the machine you need to use it to experience the benefits, and the reason why it looks like this.
It is all about versatility, the design enabled the workflow to be more seamless, be it carpet extraction or upholstery extraction and, maybe mattress extraction that can be clean and dry with minimum down time.
What more important is, this Numatic CT470 is capable to turn from an ordinary carpet extractor into a dry vacuum, wet vacuum or, a scrub and dry powerhouse with all the optional kits available.

Problem with it you have nothing to Agitate the carpet no scrubbing tool

On point sir! Yes preferably a carpet scrubber and handheld scrubber for upholstery before deploy this extractor.
However, the all in one scrub and extract machine has limitations due to size.
