My Client's Lashes Refused to Stick! 😳 How I Approached this Real Life Client Situation + More Tips

I'm so excited to share this video with you guys because I was filming with my real life client! I knew she wanted colorful lashes, so I decided it would make a fun tutorial. However, I did not expect for so much to go wrong with this look! The worst thing that can happen during a set did - my lash extensions stopped sticking. The temperature and humidity was fine, my glue was literally just working and the lashes were clean. I had to come up with a solution fast! In this video I'll go over how I approached this situation & I'll also go over some tips on isolating in layers, working with thin, blonde lashes and how to create a dynamic colorful look!

Glad you found it helpful! Another trick for lighter lashes that I've heard is black tape instead of white. Can be work a try to help you isolate! Otherwise make sure you have really great lighting and that you move your bed as close as possible to you (as much as is comfortable) and wear magnifying glasses for the best view of the lashes.

Great video, I usually detach the tape on a clean surface before taping the lashes back so they don't stick to the lashes. The colors were so pretty!!❤❤

Hey, I was wondering what is the rule of thumb for how long of an extension you can place on the client? I was taught 2-3 mm longer than the natural but some clients want them longer

Most basic rule of thumb is no more than double the length or double the thickness of the lash. However, use your best judgement! If they have really weak or damaged lashes, try not to go too long or too thick to avoid any damage!
