  • Rode this on Memorial Day 2022, but these trails are still open and hold up really well all winter!
Staggerwing Zone and Huntley Gravity Zone are the two least ridden and underrated trail hubs in NWA.
Actually located in Bella Vista, they are a bit harder to get to but well worth the trip.
Add these to your #travel plans!
Especially good on an e-MTB... :-)

What are you riding? Great video
Edit.. Yeti.. I see now. I've been looking at them. Bought a cheaper entry level aluminum frame (Bulls Copperhead EVO AM 4). It's working well for now. A Yeti may be in my future one day.

How are these some of the sickest trails in nwa?! But they're buried deep on back 40. Sad. Definitely plan on hitting them next time I'm down though! How long would you guess the pedal is from the closest parking lot?

Those drops in the Sister Rosetta area are really nice. I use to live right above the Staggerwing trail have never seen another rider on Sister Rosetta nor Immortal Amanda.

You won’t regret it. But be ready for some climbing if you want to run laps on laps.

whats it like in bentonville in jan/feb/march? thinking renting a house for 3mo to ride all winter if weather and trails are open and in good shape.

Great question. there's a saying in NWA, "If you don't like the weather, wait an hour". Things are changing all the time. That said, those months tend to have the most moisture/freeze thaw.
There are literally hundreds of miles of trails that do really well during freeze-thaw and moisture/post rain/snow. BUT if you're only into Cease & Desist, Fireline and other clay capped flow trails you might stay back. If you're good with natural flow, features etc. You'll have a blast. As a point of reference, I did ~40 rides during Jan/Feb/March this past year according to strava.
