- Only casting one spell per turn? Annoying.
Having that spell bounced back to your hand every time you try to cast it? Excruciatingly annoying.

paired High Noon with Jin and the only thing they can cast is a creature spell.
Not quite. I played a mirror-ish on my phone. Instead of hullbreaker, they had Jinny G. I played wandering emperor and exiled their Gin.
Enchantments also go through so a leyline binding or ossification will fuck you up too
@@falseboi5513 That is correct. That's why I like Hullbreaker Horror the most for the almost fullproof lockout (you could always draw poorly and not het anymore instants). There are no spells with hexproof or split second in Standard, so there is no way to break this lock, except channeling an Ottawara, which an opponent did too late, or a few other obscure cards, like Blast Zone.
@@bobibrews Cityscape leveler cast trigger would get through it as well?
@johnnamkeh1290 Yes, that's another one. Colossal Sky Turtle channel bounce is one I saw in a separate game. There are a few options, but none of them are very meta.
Fun watch. Subd :)
Thanks, [Windows] NT! I appreciate the support.
Deck looks sweet, feels like we need something in the main for the control matchup, maybe I’m crazy? What are your thoughts there?
Thanks, Isaak!
I found the control matchup to be favourable, just slow because they tend to have lots of instants, which means they contantly play on your turn. That means you need to keep up with drawing instants. But overall, it's favourable.
@ 27:15 When arena is trying to force you some shenanigans 😂😒
I agree. First memory deluge, 3 lands and a useless sweeper. Draw, land. Next flashback memory deluge, 7 stacked cards, no lands. 🤬🤬
Deck looks super fun! but, without even viewing any of the games yet, I already know the algorithm is going to stuff a hull breaker horror into your opening hand every single game. 🙁
It is a lot of fun for the pilot, although maybe not as much for the opponent. 😈
And having it in your opening hand can be a blessing, if playing against control, and a curse, if playing against aggro.
