This singing bus driver turned soldier really knows how to tell a story in song.' You realise, just as with strong spirits, that he knows his life and your's has been enhanced by his and then you cry... And amazingly feel better. How on Earth does that work? Regards.

His voice was so rich and full of character just like the roast pork and beer that I had the night before. I failed to notice that I was farting right next to an elderly woman sitting beside me but to make matters worse whilst I was passing wind poos came out and dribbled from my seat to hers.
This started a chain reaction of vomiting and the train had to be cancelled at the next stop but it was okay because I parked my purple car next to a brown one that was the same colour of the stain I left on the seat.

Different more modern genres certainly do as far as talent goes, but since each decade has their own culture and technology it's very hard to replicate. Look at the revival of 90s style rave music and how many nostalgia albums have come out atd it never quite sounds right even though it's the same talented producers from back in the day.

That is hardly surprising because Sinatra made a point of putting over every single word clearly. Matt Monro did just that with such a high degree of clarity that it is hardly surprising that a very high number of diverse films in his time had him singing their theme songs.... imagine that voice with every word crystal clear floating round the auditorium as the opening credits rolled over the big screen. There was never so good a match.

My father was to shy to ask for his autograph and suggested I do it for him , I was just too shy as well .
Anyway my father decided rather than lose the autograph he asked for it .
Matt monroe was a real gentleman if I can remember correctly . I hadn’t a clue who he was .
My father died in a hospital waiting room that night of a heart attack and I was bereft .
I have loved Matt monroe ever since and his voice is unequivocally the finest Britain has ever had ..
Every time I see him he reminds me of Reg Varney from on the busses ..? 😂

    Walk away, please go
Before you throw your life away
A life that I could share for just a day
We should have met some years ago
    For your sake I say
    Walk away, just go
    Walk away, and live
    A life that's full
    With no regret
    Don't look back at me
    Just try to forget
Why build a dream that cannot come true
So be strong, reach the stars now
    Walk away, walk on
    If I heard your voice
    I'd beg you to stay
    So don't say a word
    Just run, run away
    Goodbye my love
    My tears will fall
    Now that you've gone
    I can't help but cry
    But I must go on
I'm sad that I have, after searching so long
You, I love you, but told you
Walk away, walk on, walk on
