柔らかい言葉で、強い盛り上がりとかではないのに、芯のある音楽が胸に沁みてくるのがすごい。
「にわか雨」や「滲んだ文字」が、言おうと思ってもなかなか言えず、涙声になりそうな言葉たちのことなのかなと思った。
「手紙」は形になった言葉だけど、まだまだ届けられずに溜まってしまった胸の内が「ポスト」で、涙で滲んでしまわないように大切に保管しているうちに、古くなっていってしまった。
そんな切ない想いの唄なのかと思った。

If I have to guess what was being meant by the lyrics, I think it's still the same old topic inabakumori uses, which was about the difficulty of confessing to the one you love.
To start off, my speculation tells that this story takes place when the girl became so hopeless about her unrequited love. During when she said, "By the end of summer; Margins, full of gaps; You are the one who picks up the damp me." this could mean that the actual boy came to her after many days of separation and lifted her spirit up, or it's a metaphorical term which could mean that the girl just remembered of how she loves the boy so much that she decided to never give up and gets better after.
"Skip the Chinese characters that are difficult to read, I want you to read only the atmosphere."
This line in particular gives out a huge hint. The Chinese characters she meant was about the vague hints about her feelings she tells to the boy. Which means, what she wants was for the boy to see through what see meant and notice her long preserved love to him.
"I was wet with a shower
Words that are too blurry to read
I want you to take shelter in the rain from the post."
This part of the song was kind of obvious to me. More like she's saying that the her along with the boy was covered with the showering rain, therefore, he can't be able to hear her actual feelings. The rain could mean of fear of rejection, which means that she's telling her feelings in a futile way. That's why she said that she wants him to take shelter from the rain so that he can hear her feelings.
"Tomorrow, the day after tomorrow,
I hope you have a voice."
This could mean that someday, in a particular moment, the boy would be able to give his reply. Although, the girl didn't confessed yet, so she just hopelessly wished an impossible wish.

this is definitely one of the most distinct sounding inabakumori songs in a while... not disappointed with this one at all. i was having the issue where i felt like i couldn't differentiate between songs for a little while but i'm glad that was a temporary worry lol
