  • Amateur GoPro footage shot using a handheld GoPro Hero 8 in March 2020 at Cherokee National Forest's Bald River Gorge Trail. This was after some good rains, so the waterway was quite full. I parked at the roadside Bald River Falls and filmed it in the early morning, then hiked to the end of the gorge and filmed in reverse back to the falls. Can't put the dessert at the beginning after all!

As a local, I've always wondered what was beyond the falls.
    Now I know.
You can't tell it from the video but the actual face on shots of the falls were taken from the bridge over the confluence of Bald and Tellico rivers.
A new bridge is planned and funded but will be build farther back from the falls.
We are HOPING they'll leave the current bridge as an observation point but aren't holding our breath.
    Very nice video and channel.
    Keep up the good work!!!!

There won't be a new video in September. I'll be without my editing computer for 3 weeks as we move to Oregon. Look for my next video to be uploaded October 15th.
