      Yeah Lloyd, it really is. I looked at several before pulling the trigger on this one. It’s similar to the Kendon thought it doesn’t stand straight up with extra wheels to push it around. Thanks for watching!

    I took delivery last week of the single bike model. Three casters on the bottom. Exactly same as the Kendon but $1500 cheaper.
    Labor in SC explains the price 🤔

    I can add the little wheels myself for the savings of $1500

    We just got one of these trailers for our bmw and Kawasaki. How did you tie them down. We’ve been out here for an hour trying to figure out the best way to secure them. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thank you.

    • @gedspub
      @gedspub  Před rokem

      I’m sorry for the late response. I just noticed your comment. I used ratchet straps on the front forks and attached them to the outer rails and center rails. I attached the rear straps to the swing arm of each bike also to the center rails. I set the straps on the rails some when tightened, they pull the bike forward into the chock. Thanks for watching!

    I noticed you said it's not intended to stand up like the Kendon because it doesn't have the extra wheels on the bottom. But, when you stood it up against the wall, if I had a strapping/lock mechanism attached to the wall to keep it from falling forward, do you think that would be a viable option? Trying to save floor space in my garage. Nice video.

    • @gedspub
      @gedspub  Před rokem

      You could stand it almost upright. There is a steel stop that protrudes when the trailer is closed. Wheels added to the bottom would have to extend out past this in order to stand it completely upright. Thanks for watching.

      @eriknash8783 Před rokem +1

      @@gedspub It looks to me like you stood it up and it stayed still when you removed your hands. I would have to be able to stand it up to store in my garage. Would like to also understand how the ramp fits on the trailer when towing, especially if there are 3 bikes or just 1 in the center...

    • @gedspub
      @gedspub  Před rokem

      @@eriknash8783 Hi Erik, yeah it almost stood up in the video. It was leaning forward too much for me to comfortable with it like that. The ramp attaches to the center with two t bolts. I’m not sure how this would work with 3 bikes unless they were small like dirt bikes. I’ve not tried using the center rail. It may not work for a big bike, due to the limited space to secure the ramp. The ramp could be stored in a pick up truck bed. Thanks for watching!

    • @gedspub
      @gedspub  Před rokem

      I just took a look at the center rail. It’s considerably more forward than the Luther two, so with one big bike in the center, the ramp could be secured as normal.

    • @arnourbatzka8143
      @arnourbatzka8143 Před rokem

      @@eriknash8783 I have that trailer on order, after I get it I will be moving the mount for the ramp from behind the center rail to the aft section of the trailer so that I can secure the ramp sideways behind the bikes.

    It doesn't look like it holds the front tire properly. is that front pivot adjustable to hold the tire better?

    • @gedspub
      @gedspub  Před 4 měsíci

      Yes the pivots are adjustable. Maybe that’s why it was a minor struggle to get the bikes off. The wheels held on tight throughout the trip,. I’ll adjust them the next time we use it. Thanks, and thanks for watching!

    • @gedspub
      @gedspub  Před rokem

      Hi Chris,
      Technically the trailer can fit 3 bikes. I imagine it would be kinda tight with 3 Harleys, especially since they all have bags. They say it can haul 2 touring bikes. You may want to call USA Trailers and ask them if you can fit a cruiser and 2 sportsters. Thanks for watching!

      @@gedspub thanks. Just curious, how’s the trailer holding up for you? How many miles have you put on it. Any noticeable flaws you’ve found? I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews on it.
