Love Patorankin, I am a Jamaican born and raised. I didn't know that there was African music with a serious Jamaican vibe. Regarding the interview his "catch phrase" whayusay was not created by him. This phrase which is called patois, has been used by Jamaicans for centuries. It means: what are you saying.
He probably heard it and forgot where he heard it from.

they gave u that name in jamaica because of the internationally and lengendary reggae/dancehall singer Shabba Ranks.. its even evident in the way u dress in the 'Girlie O ' video in the white long sleeve shirt and the way u were moving has a bit similarity to Shabba Ranks

Big Respect Patoranking but ''Whayasay'' is not your slang because it's a Jamaican word. Is just like saying '' what did you say '' so is not even a slang in Jamaica it's part of the Jamaican language. Trust me my mother is from Jamaica . Good music

Akelia Lowe even fi is an African word. Your culture is using African and English words to form patwa. Jukka is also a Fulani word for poke.

Akelia Lowe everything come from africa and it will come back to Africa ... as long as you're black man u er an African.. and jamaica dancehall is getting out of hands. how can man bleach and get foward in dancehall .. respect to beenie and bounty .. but the future of dancehall from jamaica is not looking good .. so we need more african artist to look up to rather than bleaching chi chi man calling dem self's dancehall artist.. but paton ..weh ya seh ..is common in jamaican .. u er inspired by jamaica just say that.. listen to buju song... how you are gwan like bully so.. if you listen to that u see it is a slow motion of ur hook line in.. gallieo.. song.
