Planet Zoo - Hry
I would really love to see some crustaceans in exhibit boxes, I think land based crabs would be so interesting! Like coconut crabs or Christmas Island crabs
Frontier: Uses a game engine called Cobra to make a zoo game
Zoo: Has no cobras
Good list! I think the most necessary update to the exhibits would be;
- The ability to combine two or more 4x4m exhibits; animals like the green iguana would be able to have bigger groups, and something like a 4x8m should be the bare minimum for animals like the reticulated python, king cobra and sugar glider.
- Create non-walkthrough aviaries. That way you could feature animals like vampire bats or (I wish) birds of prey and other nippy avians.
Good species list too, though I'd also love the inclusion of:
- Chinese crocodile lizard
- Madagascar day gecko
- Tuatara
- Two-toed amphiuma
- Giant African millipede
- Naked mole rats
- Grey short-tailed opossum
- African four-toed hedgehog
- Belanger's treeshrew
- Galagos/bushbabies
- Goodman's mouse lemur
- Tamarins and/or marmosets (walkthrough)
Yea I was surprised there was no naked mole rat
Different sized exhibits
- small (2m x 2m) - cockroaches etc
- medium (4m x 4m) - normal standard size
- large (8m x 8m) - anaconda etc
Different shaped exhibits
- rounded edges instead of always being 90 degree angles
- ANY OTHER SHAPES (rectangles exist, so do triangles)
Aquarium Exhibits
- if exhibits for newts and axolotls and terrapins exist then they can raise the water line and add fish too
Small Mammal Exhibits
- there is nowhere for small rodents, hedgehogs, small marsupials etc in Planet Zoo - yet they made room for small reptiles and insects....
Aviary Exhibits
- with mesh option instead of glass
- several small species of brids are found in smaller exhibits (finch etc)
What I really want for exhibit species is 2x2 meter boxes. It’d be awesome to get all these species but imagine trying to fit one of each of these in 4x4 meter boxes. You’d have to build something huge to contain them all, and it’s just not realistic for the smaller animals, which is most of the exhibit species.
Or circular exibits
or 8m x 8m exhibits for large animals - like anacondas
and different shapes - not just circular, why not rectangle?! LMAO Frontier really dropped the ball with the exhibits
Glad to see the Exhibits get some loev. As a reptile keeper myself im always a little sad that these animals get so little attention, tho i have to admit that Frontier could really breath a little more life into them :D.
Would really love to see leafcutter ants in PZ!
Come To England And Visit Amazona Zoo In Cromer
After watching this video, I really hope Frontier could maybe create an Exhibit Animal DLC, only exhibit animals
In a vacuum I love the kinds of species that are in exhibit boxes, but I don't like how they're implemented in Planet Zoo--all 4x4x4 boxes that are far too large for invertebrates, frogs, and smaller reptiles, and arguably too small for animals like iguanas or a couple of the reptiles that you bring up here (green anaconda, reticulated python). I hope that most of the remaining exhibit slots go to walkthrough birds (Frontier, please...) with maybe a couple for the most critical exhibit reptiles like a chameleon or a cobra.
Also, the tortoises you mentioned *have* to be habitat animals. Not only do they need more room than 4x4, but in real zoos they're often kept in outdoor yards or in tropical houses. The radiated tortoise in particular is very often mixed with lemurs.
5:24 I love the thorny lizard, cause I find it so cool and disturbing the fact that they can shoot blood from their eyes as a defense mechanism :0
So cool! I would love to have them in the game!
We really need more exhibit reptiles in this game. Those are the only exhibit animals that I actually like
It’s really a shame we have more insects and spiders then reptiles
I would gladly trade most of the insects in for some reptiles I would also trade in the Antillen iguana in for some other tropical reptile as it’s just a reskinning of the green iguana
An exhibit animal that would really change things up is Mole Rats. It could be the only exhibit mammal. And bring in something like a colony system that could set up things like ants for exhibits and termites etc.
As a frequent visitor of Taipei Zoo, I'm glad you actually mentioned that! In Taipei's insectarium we have a tank which exhibiting the firefly larvae and other aquatic insect, so i would like to see more of these coming to the game!
I think we should also get fish for the exhibits as they would make for a good aquarium for a lot of fish like
-Red belly piranha
-Common Clownfish
-Banggai Cardinalfish
-Red Lionfish
-Stonefish
-Angler/Frogfish
-Zebra Moray Eel
-Splitfin Flashlight Fish
-Blue & Yellow Tangs
-Copperband Butterflyfish
-Pennant coralfish/Moorish Idol fish
-Threadfin Butterflyfish
-Emperor Angelfish
-Foxface
-Longhorn cowfish
-Parrotfish
-Common Porcupinefish
-Blackspotted Pufferfish
-Red Toothed Triggerfish
-Clown Triggerfish
-Seadragon & Seahorses
-Common Octopus
-Nautilus
-Moon jellyfish
And some crablike species
-King crab
-Spiny lobster
-American/European Lobster
-Coconut crab
-Tasmanian Giant crab
-Hermit crab
-Horshoe Crab
-Giant Isopod
I think this would be a perfect fit for the fish list these are some of the most known fish species kept in any aquarium zoo
And I do hope we get a option to mix different species for the fish but also for the other animals like the dart frogs
Ahhh! The reptiles on your list are ones I all agree with, especially with some of the smaller reptiles people keep as pets. And honestly, it surprises me that we don't have some of these animals yet at all, we def deserve some more scaly babies
There are SO many small species missing.
I would like aquatic exhibits, if they can give us axolotl they can give us: Blue Tang, Sea Horses, Jellyfish, Butterfly Fish, Cichlids, Clown Fish
Or exhibits for small mammals and birds: Gouldian Finch, Zebra Finch, Tenrec, sugar gliders.
If they are plain old exhibits: Black Mamba, any Cobra species, Emerald Tree Boa, Tuatara, Weta, Australian Frilled Lizards, any Chameleon species.
Thanks for the video! I always love videos like this. I hope you do one bird related some day!
Perfection! My only addition is I’d love to see them add the Tuatara. It would complete the reptile collection and bring awareness to this lizard looking dude. Plus they are so cool.
I would love to see the leaf cutter ants! My local zoo had an elephant shrew and I would head straight for him, he was lovely
I like to see camel spider, vinegaroon, weta cricket, Madagascar cockroach, also something like giant water bug
Really cool choices!
Soooo under rated! I def agree on all of these they're amazing.
Yeah I really hope we will get at least several of them!
I just saw a legless lizard for the first time at a zoo this past weekend and it was so fascinating!! Very cool animal and I would be so excited to put one in my zoo🤲
I totally agree, there seem to be so many missing exhibit animals in game! Hopefully we get more soon :)
I'm brazilian and would love to see the Tegu Lizzard added! The Coral snake would be amazing too
Yeah those are some amazing animals!
One thing they should add is now movement with the exhibit animals. Like the Beatles, I'm sure they don't stay in one place. Lol
Yeah that would actually be amazing! Maybe in Planet Zoo 2 one day!
A reptile update would be so cool, exhibit animals and habitat animals have such a wide variety of biomes
Soft-shelled river turtle, gecko, chameleon, alligator snapping turtle, skink, cobra, gilla monster, grilled lizard, sea snake, sea turtle
I totally agree!
I absolutely love snakes and am getting my own pet snake later this year.... I have always wanted to build a big snake and reptile house for my zoos in the game but there has just not been that many snakes to add so I have wanted more for SO LONG.... like don't get me wrong I like the snakes we have but I want MORE- and also want more lizards too... just more reptiles in general lol...
I would also looove more snakes! So many iconic species are missing unfortunately!!
Nice picks! I really want Emerald Tree Boa, such pretty and iconic snake. Also Panther Chameleon. But there are so many more interesting choices, we really need more exhibits animals.
I think we need the sulcata tortoise and the naked mole rat in that game
I think the exhibits as a whole are long due for an update, I like the system I just hate how big the exhibits are and how little they are customizable, hopefully we can get smaller exhibits and walkthrough exhibits at some point, until then I'm prob gonna keep building custom terrariums to be more realistic. My list would be (in no particular order)
Normal exhibits
Ball python
Black mamba
Emerald tree boa
Reticulated python
King cobra
Green anaconda
Inland Taipan
Rhinoceros iguana
Basilisk lizard
Bearded dragon
frilled lizard
Thorny devil
Jacksons chameleon
Panther chameleon
Alligator snapping turtle
snake necked turtle
pig nosed turtle
Mata mata
Both of these are habitat animals but I'd love to see them both
Red footed tortoise
African sulcata tortoise aka spurred tortoise
Now back to exhibit animals
Japanese giant salamander
African bullfrog
More poison dart frogs (and give them the ability to co hab)
Green tree frog
Fire bellied toad
Praying mantis
Stag beetle
Leaf cutter ant
sun beetle
rhinoceros beetle
Black widow spiders
emperor scorpion
lord howe island stick insect
walkthrough exhibits
(will not include birds as there are too many to list imo)
Sugar glider
more butterflies and moths
Vampire bats
Linne's two toed sloth
Goodfellows or Matchie's tree kangaroo (would much prefer for them to be habitat animals but could work as exhibit's too
not gonna do small mammals for normal exhibits cause I'd prefer for them to be habitat animals
I didn't include birds cause there are too many types that I'd like, as well as I'd hope that for birds of prey we get a exhibit like the walkthrough ones that has no path.
fish could also be put in normal exhibits and sharks, sea turtles and bigger fish could work in the walkthrough exhibits too but with a tunnel that you can remove if u want over the path.
I don't think frontier will ever add fully aquatic animals tho cause then ppl will ask for cetaceans and I don't think they want to delve into that controversial realm.
sorry for the long comment, to anyone who did end up reading it all, thank you.
@CesarCreates I really hope we get King Cobras, Chameleons, Snapping Turtles , Thorny devil, Tokay Gecko , Leopard Tortoise and maybe the Frilled Lizard eventually. Plus the Green Anaconda would be great ^^
Fun fact, elephant shrews not only look like little elephants, but they are also very closely related to them
8:22 I had two of these turtles, but they tragically died, maybe of old age or cause of the heat, cause they died on summer time, I miss them so much, they were my very first pets, along with my periqueet :(, one was bigger than the other one that was small, and the small one would always be inside of its shell, we never knew the reason why though, it would only get out of its shell whenever it was feeding time, any turtle owners out there that could tell me why did one of my turtles always hide inside of its shell but only get out of it when it was feeding time?
Bearded dragon has been my number one for a long time! I own two at home and lost my oldest one last year, so I would love to make an exhibit in honor of my scaley baby
love the sharing cesar, but have to remind you that those ecdysozoan invertebrates are called "Arthropods" not "Anthropod", arthro- is a greek origin prefix for "jointed", -pod for foot. while anthro - stands for "human" and "anthropod" would be horrific 😂
We have 3 types of monitors. Komodo, water monitor and nile monitor
And they are all so awesome!
@@CesarCreates fr
To the mammals, I would definitely add an agouti!
I actually included agouti in my habitat animals wishlist!
You forgot birds, like parrots, toucans, hornbills, cockatoos.
OMG, fireflies! Yes please!
I totally agree with you!
But I would love some more rodents like degus for example, I've to degus at home^^
Big yes to more rodents!
I agree a lot with u. I do think they could do larger parrots in the walk through also.
Speaking of Arthropods or Invertebrates of any kind, here is my list, it is based on the species of the 1998 feature film, PIXAR's second film, A Bug's Life.

Haha I love Bug's Life!
Having a House Fly in an enclosure in the zoo would be kind of iconic haha 😂
I think we could have benefited from some birds as walkthrough exhibits such as turacos, hornbills, parrots, toucans and pigeons aswell as some small mammals like tamarins, marmosets and sugar gliders
I would love to have a sugar glider, but i would prefer to have them in a walk through habitat. Speaking of walk through habitats, i feel like the red squirrel, some form of rabbit, and the smaller tortoises would also work in these walk through exhibits.
I like other exhibit animals to get in the game is:
i) Invertebrates🕷🦂🐜🪲🐝 (Leaf Cutter Ant, Orchid Mantis, Lord Island Stick Insect, Madagascar Hising Cockroach, Emperror Scorpion, Black Widow,
Honey Bee and Land Hermit Crab).

vi) Walkthrough Exhibit Mammals🦇🦥🐿🐀 (Rodrigues Flying Fox, Hoffmann's Two-Toed Sloth, Red Squirrel, Prevost's Squirrel, Sugar Glider,
Black & Rufous Elephant Shrew, Streaked Tenrec).
Woah the Viper has the Ultimate Camo coat.
I would like more aquatic creatures for exhibits like fish, horshoe crabs, sea horses, jellyfish, but that would probably never happen
Still hoping for the future!
I would love if you do a animal tier list or a pack tier list. It would be really nice ☺️
I agree if they added all those animals it would make the game a lot better
Yeah that's true!
Although a little ugly, I would love the naked mole rat as an exhibit animal where you can see into their tunnels
I absolutely agree! I love those little ugly guys!
Now that you brought up the Large Flying Fox, what other bat species could you include?
Mouse-Tailed Bat
Indian Flying Fox
Manavi Long-Fingered Bat
European Free-Tailed Bat
Common Pipistrelle Bat
African Straw-Colored Fruit Bat
Common Vampire
Grey Long-Eared Bat
Big Brown Bat
Probably the Common Vampire, Big Brow Bat and maybe a Hammer-headed bat!
for me mainly missing a cobra and a chameleon of some time. Add those two in and I'm fine if they abandon adding any more standard exhibit animals.
Walkthrough exhibit my list
Hummingbirds ( Costa's , ruby throated , Anna's , marvelous spatuletail and amazilia hummingbird )
More bats 🦇 ( vampire bat , Indian flying fox , Rodriguez flying fox and straw coloured fruit bat )

Toucans ( toco toucan and keel billed toucan )
Finally moths ( atlas moth , Luna moth , poplar hawk moth , cecropia moth and Scarlet tiger )
Really cool list! It would be soo amazing to get those animals!
@@CesarCreates Thank you 💖💖💖
I’d also like to see the corroboree frog
Yeah that would be cool as well!
Build Sloths habitat in Elm Hill City Zoo please

I’d love some fish species to add some variation
Yeah that would be amazing!!
among invertebrates i would like to see velvet worm

Hello ich love your bildings
I think spider crabs would be really cool but they are too small for exhibits and i think don't go on land.
Any kind of crab would be amazing!!

Ooh cool I loved your habitat animal wishlist and I knew I would love this 😊
Planet zoo should add the leapord gecko
It would be so amazing to have it!
I hope they will add Romer’s tree frog
Also, now in Spain, is ilegal to have this turtle 8:22 and is also ilegal to have hamsters, chinchillas, guinea pigs, rabbits, periqueets and canaries, why? Idk lol, thank God that I had them before that law was legalized and put into use XD
Those turtles are pretty invasive - they adapt well to the European climate, breed easily and feed on our native fish etc that's why they are trying to limit their impact on our environment. The same goes to other animals you mentioned but a hamster or a guinea pig feels a bit weird 😆
To be extremely honest
we need 100 insect, 100 reptiles, 100 birds, 100 small mammals, 200 fish for exhibit animals.
Haha yeah I totally agree!
I whould really love the turtles. I just love turtles
Me tooo!
I'm nit -picking here but isn't the legless lizard known as a "slow worm" ?
Wish he mentioned the Indian taipan
I widblove to see hiy land gorilla's or orca's
End hi cesar im back ❤❤❤
Welcome back! 💚

Can you do a aquarium wishlist
I will definitely do it!
@@CesarCreates great I’m a aquarist in a aquarium at a zoo I work with sharks
So I really wanna see some ideas for planet zoo as I myself created a wishlist
@@dylanswijnenburg6680 ohhh that’s amazing!! I also have my list pretty much sorted so I need to do that video one day for sure!
@@CesarCreates great!
🎉🎉
I want chameleons and a lot of tortoises and turtles
I listened to most of this..... so many nope ropes, so many almost nope ropes. UGH!!!!
That being said, even with my ophidiophobia, I do agree with so many of these ugh bugs and nope ropes and shtuff. I definitely feel like there's a plethora of animals just flat out missing. The cobra is the only snake I kindof feel like Frontier HAS to bring us since they gave us the statue piece in the base game, but there is a lot of lack of color in the exhibit animal roster, so I would love a rainbow-filled exhibit pack which does include some of those other snakes, as well as the lizards and frogs that are also very colorful. I could see dragonflies, flying squirrels, tarsiers, or even iguanas and other lizards as a walkthrough exhibit animal. I definitely feel like the "must haves" left on this list that just make sense within the full scope of what realistically could be brought to fill in the gaps is some sort of Desert Tortoise, the Cobra, at least one red or green snake, and Chameleons as a walkthrough. There's plenty of others I'd add, but we have enough similar animals in game that I would feel more comfortable getting things we just don't have between biome and options -- and just "fake" it with the others (i.e. sub naming for Reticulated Python with the Boa Constrictor; or sub the butterflies as moths or dragonflies. Yeah, not accurate, but they look similar "enough" ingame.
Add Hong Kong Warty newt
Here are my list of animals that I want to see in planet zoo
Common box turtle
Common snapping turtle
Rose hair tarantula
Walking stick
Southern leopard frog
Golden poison frog
Common toad
African clawed frog
Northern red - legged frog
Bush rat
Black rat
Brown rat
Bushy tailed woodrat
Merriams kangaroo rat
Savannah monitor
Crested gecko
Sand lizard
Leopard gecko
Western fence lizard
Redback spider
Western black widow
Black house spider
Zebra spider
Goliath bird eater
Red squirrel
Eastern chipmunk
Asian long horned beetle
Monarch butterflies
Stink bug
Lady bugs
Honey bee
Deathwatch beetle
Earth worms
Elephant beetles
Scarlet lily beetle
You're list would need a uromastyx to be complete
Sure why not!
No birds??
I think the reticulated python and green anaconda shouldn’t be in the exhibit these species are so big that they always have huge exhibit I think planet zoo should make these 2 habitat animals just like the monitors
We need termites
