I remember that we had some frantic discussions in regards to the LEFT JOIN in SQL in the beginning of our course, where some of us claimed that the join did not project the columns of the joined table. We who knew that it did still had a hard time defending our point since the other side of the argument had a venn diagram for the LEFT JOIN on there side. This really clears it all up though, the other group thought of the LEFT JOIN as a SEMI LEFT JOIN. Thanks a lot for this!
