I desperately need this. I am failing as a mother. I don’t know what to do with my toddlers all day without screen time
as parents we do feel it a lot many times… You are doing all you can… Some suggestions- going out each morning & evening for 1 hour
meeting friends often who have kids of similar age to play with. Making mommy friends is the best thing you can gift to yourself… Where you guys have fun & kids too
Hiding TV was the best time once & now we use alarm system or Only 1/2 show only … Once alarm hit, TV is off
Obviously there will be tantrums but with keeping it in practice they get shorter & slowly kids get used to to it

I’m new :) but thank you for this video, I’ve been starting to worry that screen time is hurting my little ones development and that it’s becoming too much. I’ve been really worried about how I’ll keep her entertained though, this video gave me several ideas and I’m very glad that having them ‘help’ with chores does get easier as they learn :) wish me luck as I try this out! :D

my mom introduced my son to screen time at a very early age against my wishes and he's been obsessed since. i am looking into toys and activities to gift him for christmas to get him away from screen time as much as possible lol
yeyyeye I am sure it will be a good journey... Hi I have a boi here is now 3 years 4 months old and he doesn't talk as much as your daughter. He understands what I say. Everytime I try to teach hom ABC or counting 1-10 and reading books etc... he start crying and running away. I feel so frustrated and don't know what to do to get him attention to follow and start following. What is the max tv and games time do you allow your kid to have each day? Is there anyway that you think I can do to help my son start to focused on sitting down when I want to teach him stuff? Please help me thank you
SCREEN IS THE BIGGEST CULPRIT Hi there so the first thing you have to cut down his TV time you can set timer whenever he sits in front of TV for 1520 minutes just offered him TV only like twice a day and rest of the day you can just make him listen Do the rhymes are shows he likes so much on your phone and keep your phone away on the very top where he cannot see just watch and And do not worry that he’s bored or he will not and get entertained by himself or something then there will be no options he will eventually fell into activities cobs and toys and this will really help him increasing his vocabulary and talking and listening to you.

Till now he recognises all alphabates, counting, almost all body parts names,Some of vehicle,animals
What sud do ? i let her mother and him continue or stop this kind of excercise.

I won’t say to stop but these are academic things which he will eventually start learning co kids are born naturally so curious & once they hit 2.8 almost 3 they become naturally interested in all these... I would highly recommend you to give Prabhs lot of Nature walk, natural play, practical life working, like preparingsnacks, watering plants, feeding pets, getting ready, cleaning and all + LOTS OF SENSORY + FINE MOTOR SKILL PLAY TIME

I didn’t experience that with my daughter. Give her Coconut oil massage in full body before sleep every day, that might help...
Plz go to the doctor. This problem looks small but can b big for her.... she will not play will not be able to enjoy her childhood..
My 5 year old daughter complains of leg pains, especially at night. Her pediatrician thinks it may be growing pain. I tried giving her some milk before bed and it seems to be helping.

hi pragya.. its very useful video... I have 2.8 year old son. he always takes food by watching mobile.He watchs rhymes,colours etc like that. he learned a lot also from that. But nowadays its very hard to take mobile from him after he finished eating.. He dont give back for an hour also sometime.. If i take from him he crys a lot. im so worried about his health.even i have tried not to give mobile while eating. bt he dont eat.he is asking for mobile for eating... Pl Pl giv me some suggestion to stop this..
go for no screen time at all for a month or 2, play puzzles & blocks, flash cards during meal times more... this will help u out

My three year old has become very aggressive after our daughter birth. He kicks his age fellow cousins, his newborn sister. We have scared him, taught him with love. But he does not let go his aggressive and hitting behavior . Help pls.
Give one on one time when younger-one is sleeping or napping, ask your husband to do the same, If he does it again you give him time out, talk about good manners there are tons of books on it. kiss him, hug him more & more so he feel loved

Always talk slowly & lower down voice even if you want to scratch your head coz it happens a lot that we all loose our temper... Start with small commands like , take eat, come go... Speech delay is very common among kids which goes with the time so do not panic at all
My dear friend - my two cents. Pls do not stop screen time.cold.turkey. Slowly reduce it. Reduce it by 30 mins per day. With your kid, you will also learn. The trick is to.provide something.more interesting than the videos. Introduce new games. Pls involve yo family too. Remove the kid from the screen without him knowing. This will avoid a meltdown.

My kid is alway angry he is 4 years old and he watches mobile and tv all day he fights for it. He has not started to talk yet.. i mean he can talk but he do not. He sings poem counts numbers and screams for no reason very loud. Whenever i try to make him calm tell him to sit with me and learn to speak or write or anything he starts crying...
When i call his name he don't pay attention. It all makes me feel like he hates me😢

How do you manage her with no screen time ? Even weekends you parents don't watch any movies? Just curious how? 🙄
Now we have started giving her little bit of screen time after 3 months every day for 1-2 hrs in total as my hubby works from home due covid, she doesn’t stay quiet 🤫 in meetings so no other option... We watch when she is napping or sleeping 😴 mostly
2 hours max .... I usually put the tv on for my little when she wakes from her nap while it's playing in the background and we play in our own games ....

Pack the TV & keep it away. Do not use mobile when she is awake or talk to anyone for a week or so in front of her... You can put the rhymes on CZcams & keep the mobile from where she can only Listen not watch....

I think your child is a bit young to leave alone in the bath, drowning is the number one cause of death for young children at home. It only take a few seconds to drown.
It’s not that deep & I do not fill it completely & She I can see her from kitchen coz of such layout... Thanks for concern 😀 but do not worry

@@MordecaiAliVanAllenOShea I understand where you coming from, but I have a 3 year old daughter too and I let her play in the bath too, I keep talking to her from my kitchen, I can see her too from the kitchen. As long as you are being mindful, careful and can see the child, things should be fine! I don't agree with leaving them there on their own, but if you are close by and you keep an eye on them, they should be fine.
