Before I invest roughly $600.00 (truck and battery) in a new r/c I research the vehicle beyond typical ordinary research. I listen and watch extensively. I've certainly learned where and how to run or not where and how to run this truck. Everything in between too. I thank everyone out there for the info. My final assessment is I need to get one in my stable.

😊 first of all what a location for RC.... perfect... Man that was a serious session and a massive test for the new Mojave...... I've one on order and can't wait till it arrives. I gotta say ive seen probably every single video on CZcams on this rc since its release and this vid tops them all well done bro what a fantastic vid and the hight of those sends... Is it me or is the 4S suspension set up on this thing damn there as good as the 6s shocks? That landing around 3:00 looked to be over 30 feet in the air and the Mohave didn’t break a sweat!!! 😮
I am hearing a grinding type noise on mine at full throttle. Did this brand new out of box. Ideas and what I should be looking for? Thanks

I was about to ask the same, but seems like someone got paid to stfu on what really matters. The final assessment was no more than an overview. A thorough inspection would’ve been nice.
I’d like to believe it broke no main components after so many nasty hits, but cropped video objects.

Just got mine the other day, 2 battery packs in. The first was a 5000 MaH 100c, that gave me what felt like maybe 7 minutes of run time, second pack, I ran a 7500 MaH 75c, that gave me about a 12 minute run time. How long were your run times? And what batteries where you using? Yes I confirmed that they where both fully charged prior. Both are brand new out of the box. The 7500 I went to my LHS and they checked the battery before I took it. The location I was driving was a big open field with a nice big hill. All grass and dry. Fun as hell ripping I will say.
check your ESC, it will tell you whether it overheated or low votage.
@@RazorRC my apologies, how do I go about checking that? Could have, I was ripping it pretty hard ish, at least as far as throttle goes, not hitting gnarly jumps like you. I’m up in the Pacific Northwest so outside temp was in high 50s low 60s

Well, a 30/70 motor on such a heavy car is probably gonna get hot quickly(which wastes a lot of energy) and chew through a 4s battery pretty fast, isn't it?
Im new to rc great hobby just received my mojave 4s..Is there a big difference between the 3s lipo and 4s which should i buy? If i buy off brand lipo do i need to solder or can i buy adapters?
You will Notice a power difference for sure between 3s and 4s,it’s you choice I say if you are new then start with the 3s would be more manageable and enjoyable,and no you don’t need so solder any connectors just get the Correct one on there i believe you can use EC5 connector batteries
I would buy a 4S and just turn the power down to 50 or 75%. Definitely buy a battery with an EC5/IC5 connector, nearly every battery out there will offer that, even most of the cheap brands.

I'm back to watching 4s Mojo vids after seeing the disappointment that is called a Maxx Slash, LOL. The more I look at the Mojo 4s, the more I want one. I do have a 6s Mojo, but find it a bit too big for my space, the Slash XL is out due to lack of value and performance..

Exactly... actually the bumper jamming the body against the tire is annoying, but not a biggie.
@@RazorRC yeah ok i see what your saying lol i said the same thing in my videos but some are jumping on this as a issue arrma should address mines mint an my ONLY issue is that rubber from hitting wheels an sometimes the front of body gets hooked on the bumper im 6 packs in now...

It's funny about taking the body off without all the prissy, fussy whining I've been seeing. Making a mountain out of a mole/ant hill.
This is an high amount of punishment for plastic, metal and a lipo battery to not get damaged. Bashing literately means "violent physical assault" and bash you did.
