    theres a more simple way for me to find out if my chromebook has an intel processor. theres a sticker on my chromebook that says intel inside. lol

    If anyone gets the corrupted download error while trying to flash go to his blog post in the description and find the chromebox software command and run that instead and follow the same instructions.

    After I click custom installation, and it asks “where do you want to install Windows?” It says “no signed device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers, and then click ok.”

      Chrome OS cannot open .exe and run other programm files. You can also say that Chrome OS is a great OS for a mobile device. But Chrome has a built-in setting that if you want, you can turn it into Linux which can run programms

      Dbtech I found a way to make a usb drive on android if your chrome book was made after 2017 install windows 10 iso install iso 2 usb plug in the Ian select the drive and the app will make it bootable

    I had problems but ended fixing all of them from removing the write-protect screw to changing the script and using mr.chromebox's and finally having to remake the bootable USB because it wasn't working. BUT IT WORKED!! I don't recommend it to kids without permission from their parents tho.

    I am trying to install windows 10 on my Asus Chromebook. There wasn't a write protect screw , but I was able to disable the write protect by disabling the battery. After downloading the shell script , the only options I have to click is #2 and #3 with no option to click on #1, any advice that you can give on this?

      @Christhe9th WHAT is fake? Installing Windows on a Chromebook? Nope. It's not fake. There are a select number of Chromebooks this works on. As long as your Chromebook has the right processor in it. Has to be certain Intel processors. ARM processors won't work.

    I'm guessing mine wont work since mines a Mediatek MT8381 processor and not a AMD or Intel processor so I am guessing mine wont work but this is a very good tutorial and you are very slow and will let people finish their stuff before you go ahead and that's a very good attitude.     Dude i did all of this and when i put my usb flash in the chromebook and try to boot it from usb it doesnt work it just take's be back to the boot option menu idk why but it worked before but windows didnt want to boot because it dont have enough disk space (so how do i fix it)

    Everything has gone great so far but it's still saying "Fw WP: Enabled" even after I removed the write protect screw. I don't know whats wrong with it

      Depending on the chromebook the screw may be different, try opening it back up and checking the wp screw slot for any gunk or residue in it, in which case, clean it with rubbing alcohol on a q tip once the battery is unplugged.

      Using a lot of caps like that isn't a good way to get an answer from me. Use a USB drive like I said in the video. You can't just copy an ISO to a hard drive and expect it to work. I make these videos for a reason. Follow them.

    It´s simply impossible for me to enable developer mode. Maybe because the Acer 720p lacks support ? I Don´t know...

      Nope. The Chromebook I used in this (and ALL of my Chromebook videos) is a VERY much supported 720P. Is yours maybe locked out because it belongs to a school or business?

      In the video and, I believe, in the blog post, it very clearly states that only SOME Intel processors are compatible. If you don't have a supported Intel processor, there is nothing you can do.

      You can install a 2.5 HDD, you'll just have to go tochrom support and make a chrome os boot drive, it's what I did and it worked

    Hey just wanted to get one thing straight before I continue. Can I download the windows installer on my Chrome OS? and convert it to the usb or, do I have to go on my other windows PC?

      No. Sadly, you need another laptop because you can’t run exe files on chromebook. You can try to google a way to run an exe file on chromebook, but I doubt it would work

    My Chromebook is on the Windows setup screen and such, but it gave me a pop-up that didn't appear for you saying "A media driver your computer needs is missing. This could be a DVD, USB or Hard disk driver. If you have a CD, DVD, or USB flash drive with the driver on it, please insert it now." So idk what to do from here.

      @@DBTechYT Yep, its the same exact Chromebook as yours. Though I did fix it after messing around a bit more. The USB I was using to turn it into a bootable USB wasn't working with that Windows Tool software, so I downloaded the ISO and wrote over the drive with a different software. So I guess doing that made it fuck up in some way? So I went and found an 8GB SD Card I had laying around and used the Windows Tool thing on that and it worked. It was odd, lol.

    I found my old hp Chromebook x2 and it took a bit, i had to remove my battery to remove write protection, and then use the mrchrombox script from your website but its working and i installed tiny 11, great videos as alway sir take my like
