Reprogramming therapy? That implies she was programmed. Hmm..... So programming people is possible? If that's true let's think about that at a bigger scale. At a point when influence of our minds is much greater. As a child, what does the pledge of allegiance every day five days a week do to a child's mind.and what I a child's understanding of it? What is an adults understanding of it? What is your understanding of it?

He's not an "interviewer guy", he's a moderator. He is doing exactly what is requirred and expected from him on such dialogue forum based platforms with an audience of topic informed invited audience guests.
For as much as you may find him annoying, he's actually done an exemplary job in his preparation, thoroughness, addressing points that some members of the guest audience would have discussed with him prior to filming, and moving the dialogue forward at a pace that would adhere to production time constraints while 'steering' the keynote speaker in a forward direction.
Don't like the 'Readers Digest' format? ....... You could always just read the authors book, or get the audio book version and have it read to you.

There is no doubt what so ever that she was kidnapped, and at first a victim, now, if you think later she was brain washed into joining forces with the SLA, or was a willing participant who committed numerous felony offenses and had numerous occasions to escape is still open to debate by many. Personally, I think she was fascinated by the publicity the case was receiving and wish to portray herself as rich girl turned into the knight in shinning armour to assist the poor. If she would have been anybody else she would still be in prison today. If her name wasn't Hearst she would have never received a commutation from President Jimmy Carter, had President Reagan give serious consideration to a pardon, and then have President Bill Clinton give her a full pardon. That is three US Presidents involved in the case of Patty Hearst. If she was poor she would have never had one of them help her, but because of how wealthy her family was, three US Presidents were involved in her case. That is a slap in the face to the US justice system.

This is interesting, but I don't like that they keep finding humor in a situation where multiple innocent people were killed. I'll have to look at the book and see what (if anything) it has to say about DiFreeze having issues with schizophrenia and a finding (by a private detective) that he had ties to the police (as an "agent provocateur") and the CIA. That, to me, has a lot of implications on who the SLA really was. I imagine it was complicated, but DiFreeze--and his motivations--is a big part of this.
