We are the Jonas Olsson Tribute Band. We play the music of our friend and teacher Jonas who left us unfortunately in 2010 at the age of 45. We want to remember and honor him by playing his fantastic compositions in traditional Swedish folk music style. This is a tune that he composed: Mitt i Juli.

This is one of the tunes that got me to pick up the violin 5 years ago. =) Always happy to download more videos of it, and especially nice to see players with such a connection to it. I'm so sorry about the loss of your friend, and grateful he wrote songs so awesome that even those of us who didn't know him will carry his name forward.
