- This stage is mostly used for summer concerts. I captured this video in January 2023, then I received news that in February 2023 arson has done major fire damage. the city has fixed and rebuilt it, given it a new coat of paint, sealed up the windows to prevent vandalism, and added a roof over the stage area. Then in May 2024 a group of high school art students have painted the sealed windows to look like people are dancing inside.

It's sad that some have no care for their countries history. I am glad it was not totally destroyed and sounds to be more protected from the elements now
Truly is, especially when they just destroy things for fun.. but so glad they have restored it. I'll have do a follow up video to this.. I haven't been in that area since recording this, appreciate you watching.
@@TriGogglin I would like to see that if you get chance to go back. We recently had two fires at heritage railways, one was in a coach with a model railway in that took years to build another place the signal box (Switch tower) was smashed up they lost all the old telegraph stuff.
@@cedarcam oh man, what a loss. If it was accidental that's one thing.. but if it was Arson then that sucks
@@TriGogglin Sadly both were arson and the switch tower vandals who just smashed everything for fun.
