With over 700 stalls this year, Singapore’s Geylang Serai Bazaar has been at the heart of the Ramadan festivities for many years and continues to be a popular destination for Muslims and non-Muslims alike who look forward to sampling the dizzying array of food offerings.
However, behind the buzzing crowds and delicious treats, astronomical rental costs have kept some vendors from joining this year’s bazaar. We got the participating vendors and visitors to weigh in.
