A time travel movie with a wholesome ending?
I never though I would see the day!
You should watch About Time starring Rachel McAdams, Domnhall Gleeson and Bill Nighy. It’s super wholesome!
About time was a seriously out of nowhere gem. It was so heartfelt and extremely underrated. I suggest watching the actual movie and not a recap.
there is also groundhog day.
@@graphthis2249 It was very good. Unfortunately , i watched it a few months after my Dad died , so when Bill Nighy took his 8-9 ? year old son to the beach , i hit pause and went for a walk. Just couldnt watch it .
To watch the full move look up “Mind Bending Time Travel Movie 41” Or Glenn Triggs, the producer and creator. The whole movie is posted on his CZcams Channel.
that was one of the best twists, him being the motel manager and time traveling in the same place
Eh it was okay
@@John-Doe-Yo ☹️
Spoiler warning would have been pretty cool…
@@Therealnonsequitur not my problem
@@Therealnonsequitur lol dont read comments if you dont want spoilers. watch the damn video first.
Wow, the way he sacrificed his life for the lives of his loved ones, truly heartwarming
Ayn Rand would despise him.
Dope comment
Who is Ayn Rand ? Explain
@@DoPeMaN60
Ayn Rand was a philosopher and atheist.
Very popular with the people of the right, business people, politicians and for some reason with young people.
Her philosophy promotes reason, individual liberty and selfishness as core virtues for success and development and condemns self-sacrifice, religion and communist ideology with the strongest contempt as a cause of individual mediocrity and social evil.
At the beginning her philosophy makes sense until you realize that she had no heart, no love and no compassion for anybody except the ones that are near the path of her philosophy.
And the self-sacrifice people she despise them the most.
But i have heard many people that say that her philosophy when applied to economics makes a good argument for the defense and promotion of free markets and free competition.
@@argotcalo5575 So why pick own satisfaction above sacrifice for other satisfaction? What is the main goal trying to be achieved being selfish like that
This is probably the best representation of just how absurd the notion of time as a dimension really is.
What is really absurd is no one knows what movie it is.
With time as a dimension, you can't go back in time, so I don't understand how this makes it absurd.
@@sirellyn Time Travel only makes sense of Time was a Place, where the past still exists and the future already exists.
@@SkyDarmos I might have agreed with you but the problem is that time is a construct of a limited linear mind. Relatively changes time based on the point of observation.
@@nickm9102 Yes, but quantum mechanics relies on absolute time. That means one of the many frames of reference is somehow the “true” or fundamental frame of reference. It could be the CMB, it could be the Milky Way, it could be earth. I think it is earth.
The movie title is "41" and was released in 2012.
Thankyou for providing the name.
Thank you🌹
Still, the most unbelievable part was someone dying in a “golf accident”…. 😂😂😂
Golfing pants aren't good for swimming.
Hell Golf pants are barely good for walking, none less running lol
he drown in the lake
Ever see the movie Falling Down? "And now you're gonna die wearing that stupid little hat!!"
its probability is low but not zero.
I almost thought that Patient X would be the grandfather, saved by Aiden, but driven insane by the realization of all the things that've happened.
I've always loved this concept for movies and this one has a good twist in it
To watch the whole move look up “Mind Bending Time Travel Movie 41” Or Glenn Triggs, the producer and creator. The whole movie is posted on his CZcams Channel.
Another movie to watch is timecrimes. That one I'd personally say is above this one
This was a weird way to watch a movie but I have to admit it was quite enjoyable. Well covered as well.
Wait, so who was the Aiden who told him NOT to go to the Heathscape? And if his grandfather was alive, that changes his past growing up with his grandmother substantially.
That’s the catch, you can’t change your own past. It is literally impossible. Every time Aiden travelled back, he was creating a new timeline, not going back on his own. The aiden that told him NOT to go to the hotel would’ve been from the first timeline.
…of course, this is my general interpretation of time travel based on current scientific facts. The alternative is that you’re creating paradoxes and well…
@@FenekkuKitsuneI love your explanation it makes so much sense
“People assume that time is a strict progression from cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff.”
Doctor who!!!!
Sweet film but kind of a lonely life for him.
I think he slept with his grandmother at some point in the movie

Very entertaining my man! Felt like I watched the whole movie.
Its a fucking computer bro
Never understood the concept of not showing yourself. If he just sat at the table when they were eating and talked to both her and himself she would never had died
He's the one that should have been pressing charges since the girl turned the steering wheel but of course you can't press charges on a dead prison.
Of course you can, in theory you could press charges against Hitler himself
@@gial27 they won't be punished since thier dead
@@KentPetersonmoney no they wont be punished but you would still be compensated given you win the lawsuit
No. Aidan can have a pretty good case if he had a good lawyer. Both parties were injured, There's no way it can be ruled as a murder. if they looked at the crash site, they can see the car swerved. Aidan's defense can really be the car, and the fact they're in a route on the way to the girl's house.
Damn... I wish I could press charges on a prison... 😔
I mean, at least invest a few bucks in microsoft, google and amazon if you're gonna go back in time.
maybe these billionaires are one of those who did invest in the things you mentioned 🤯
Hey. That turned out better than I thought it would. Nice. Thanksxfor the summary.
Loved the guy doing tune travel
Best twist ever. Rare to see such genius
A time travel movie that actually adheres to the rules of time travel!! Awesome!!!
Still a mess of paradoxes
This was a good one. I enjoyed it.
Film deserves an additional thumbs up just for the old Mazda Protege.
I thought he would have been patient x
me too
it very well could have been but they decided to pull a random character instead I guess
This has officially become my favourite time travel movie
Idky but it’s your voice that make me keep watching your vids
Never heard of this before but I enjoyed it, the only thing I would have tried first would be disabling the car so they could never use it on the road but I guess that wouldn't stop the story
That’s a great time traveling scenario
Aden should travel even further, go to Austria and try to convince Vienna art school to make the Mustache guy pass.
Also even further and let my native ancestors know to not allow any wh¡te peeps on their lands and with plans of future weapons and technology to fight off the invasion.
The Butterfly Effect.
Everything happens for a reason.
The motel didn't exist then. He can only go back to when the motel was first built.
Damm that was one of the best time travel stories I have seen in a long time.
Time Travel back in time really complicates things further. Que Sera Sera.
Giving the saw to the tweeker…
Perfect, lol
Good one
I thought this was another ridiculous foreign film but it turned out ok.
Awesome man!!
the one time travel movie i wont crap on
Havent you explained this before?
This one honestly is underrated!!
Damn that twist
Nice vid
The Olympia diner is in Newington, CT.
That's a pretty dope movie.
Assuming that it takes him 5 seconds to get in the hole and 5 to get out , and he has to do that 18,000 times. It would take him roughly 50 hours to do that. How quickly will he get back ache , or sore knees , and he needs to stop for food and bathroom break. So spread it out over 5 hours per day for 10 days , its possible. He'll be worn out at the end, but he will be back in time.
it probably took him month, that's more realistic.
This makes Primer look easy to understand.
Sike
This was all kinds of cool loved it.
This was great.
In the end the old guy/manager/main character accepted that you can’t change fate, as he smiled knowing she was gone die
The narrator said she accepted the invitation to walk her home. I thought that means they didn't take the car. English is not my native language so I don't know if "walk her home" means just take her home or literally walk.
@@brat_paq You're right, it means literally walk. Basically the manager could never save his girlfriend, but he made enough changes in the past so that this version of her would survive.
No dude. She didn't die. He sacrificed himself (that "version" of himself) so that she would survive and another "version" of himself would be with her since they walked home instead of driving.
Literally the opposite of what happened.
Right! I was very confused, that he smiled, pleased with what is going to happened. And what was the point of time traveling. But thanks to comments below I get it. Uff. Glad. But also the recap might said it? I haven' t seen the movie and I¨m not going to.
0:55 Is that a table I see that they tried to make into a bed? I cant unsee that now haha.
I have been seeing things like time travel but......
:55 😂😂😂😂 They used a fold up table
the ending had me in tears
This movie sort of reminds of Predestination, which had somewhat similar plot points.
Makes me wanna watch
Which movie?
This is why I when I see a person that’s old that looks like me or that knows me and smiles I run like hell
Basically a “proof” of how time travel causes splintered realities.

Why is grandma's bed in the retirement home a table...?
This one was actually good
One of the best
Wow... one thing that Dr. Strange have never thought from What if
The best way to get the truth out that nobody would ever believe is to tell it as a story of fiction... This probably actually happened... And this was probably the only way for the old man to tell his story what happened to him since there's nobody else to tell his story...
Did you seriously just say that this probably actually happened?
@@Finnbobjimbob he clearly said as a story of fiction
He became a master of time. To change the reality we live in, must be done in subtle divine ways as not to disrupt our lives with miracles.
uhhh, he didn't fixed his life but others.
Yo this one was actually really good, I'm about to watch this shit
We've been alive alot longer than we've been dead 🤯
This was nice
A golf accident? hold on now
So since it apparently was never discussed what movie is this is this just like some CZcams thing or what is the movie called?
Sounds like a really cool movie but I feel like the ending is a huge let down
didnt see that coming
Is... IS THE GRANDMA LYING DOWN ON A BANQUET TABLE??!?
where can I find this movie online?
Wow that was actually pretty good
But if he is the hotel manager and only became the hotel manager to stop the accident, then why does the accident still happen in the first timeline we see?
Did anyone watch? What kind of life did the OG main character live after he was stuck in the past? Did he get to have kids or a partner or anything?
And I’m surprised he was still conceived, from his grandfather living there’s so much that would have changed to the point where he wouldn’t be born! I know it’s just a movie but fun to think about haha
Yeah, his grandfather surviving would change his parents' lives enough that he should have been un-made.
I think your WAY overthinking this...In the beginning, if he existed AND his grandfather was already dead, that means that he had already been conceived before his grandfather's death. Making grandpa live longer could not interfere with that. It could only have provided uncles and aunts that he never knew.
@@dh2283so you're saying that the main character's grandparents and parents were like under 12 when they conceived him? Because grandma is like 25 when he came back to save grandpa
Movie name pls?
My brain is melting.
Great story, but I still find the thumbnail rather confusing. 😕
I thought he was gonna be the crazy guy, they could have still made him the crazy guy
Wow i would've assumed hed wind up being patient zero or the teacher not the manager
What is this movie called????
He said he went back into the toilet hole about a thousand times, but if he went back to his childhood years to meet his young grandparents, and if the hole gets him back only 1 day back in time, assuming he was about 20 yrs old and went back to being 10 for example, he must have gone into the toilet about 10×365 = 3650 times in a row lol
nope. grandma is probably about 75. she was about 25 when she was young. so more like 50*365=18,250, that is why this says 18,000 times.
Don't communicate things, just enjoy the movie
@@wilburwood8261 and the hole only take you back 12 hours before 😥😥😥 4:06

shhh everyone 🤫. just enjoy the good feels and don’t overthink it.
time travels stories will ALWAYS have paradoxes. it’s inherent to the problem (….regardless of whether you try explaining with single timeline, split timelines, or whatever)
embrace the positive feels of this on and move on.
Damn I really thought he was going to be patient X
0:40 I feel like if someone who looks just like me told me not to do something it would just make me wanna do it. If I really wanted myself to not do something I would tell myself to do it instead… because once anyone tells me to do something I immediately refuse to do it.
Where are titles to the movies you are recapping? There have been a few I would like to watch... thanks
