Some crashes are similar but others don't even come close, and many say that the game perfects 100% the same collisions and crash realism as in real life, and if it doesn't even surpass it, in part the guy who is driving the truck or something collides with a car and then with another truck, the game imitated that accident well but the collision didn't because the truck that received the crash barely had any damage but the real video was almost destroyed, so this game is not so realistic that Let's say
there is a gap for discripancies ofcourse cause you cant have the exact car models in the game as the ones in RL, also the player cant get all the speeds and directions and other factors 100% right which leaves a extra margin of error, Still the game manages to emulate those crashes prety well taking in count what recources its provided with.
