- After a day of exploring the Gili Islands we wanted to share this 120 year old villa that we've been staying at in the Gili Islands. This unique villa is one of several called Kuno Villas; located in Gili Trawangan. We decided to stay here because of it's unique history and story. Apparently, Kuno Villas were restored from 120 year old cattle stables into these beautiful villas that we see today. If you're traveling to the Gili Islands this is a place you must stay!

absolutely! Some of the nicer places do include bikes in your reservation which is a great deal 🙌🏻 totally recommend this place if you visit in the future

I lived on Gili T for three months in 1998 and I hate seeing how built up it's become. Glad you are there to enjoy it, that was a trip of a lifetime for me.
Yeah it was nice to see the island quiet and peaceful but sad that many places are closed

Gili Trawangan is just an amazing island...no cars or motor there...nice view, delicious food and really pretty to do snorkling there....the villa is so beautiful even its 120 years old villa...cool 👍. Greetings from Aba Umma in Rotterdam, The Netherlands 🙏😊. Thx a lot for sharing

First time i visit Gili Trawangan was early 2000, theres no ATM on the island, people naked on the beach, and bon fire party every night, good times.

Dannnnkk..You took me back to September 2019...I was there for 3 days @gilitrawangan, meno...Its great just strolling around there to see tourists from Aussie 🇦🇺, Russia 🇷🇺, UK 🇬🇧, Spain 🇪🇸, Ukraine 🇺🇦lotta from Germany 🇩🇪..Switzerland 🇨🇭 surprisingly only few from United States 🇺🇸....at night I met & showed them how to eat POPULAR childhood sweet desserts...They ❤ it..I even got free desserts from the owner/vendor..cuz so many people bought after I explained to the tourists😂😂 its lotta funnnn...just FYI..I am watching this video while enjoying my PANCAKES..hahaha..❤ from TRAVFOODLOCA..hehehehe😂😂

Quick question, living in Europe the flights are pretty expensive to get to Indonesia, any tips on what days to fly or whatever else that helps to bring the cost down (flying from Poland)
I flew from Istanbul, directly to Jakarta for around $500 usd one way. That was the best route for me since PCR test was quick and cheap in the airport ($30 usd)

I guess somebody lied to you. The islands was started to be inhabited in late 60s or early 70s... I think the building is 120 years old (cos' the owner transfer it from other part of Indonesia), and not has been there for 120 years 😁

I watched a few of your videos from Bali and Gili T, still looks good even without tourists. I've been travelling to SE Asia for 11 years and never made it to Indonesia. $28 for that room, bargain, that's about £20. Is Indonesia open for tourism?
Theres a special visa you can apply for but it costs like $500 (he talked about it in one of his previous videos, you’ll notice which one) but no international arrivals are allowed for at least until the end of this month

@@TribalFusion 5 day quarantine unless they change the regulations again next month, it's around £50 per night all in, excluding a PCR test at the end of the five days.
