    FUTURE SNAKEYBUS CONTENT
In the about the past two months, I’ve been working on more challenging PS4 runs. I’ve actually improved three of my PS4 world records. I just haven’t uploaded them because I know they can be substantially better. Nonetheless, here are future Snakeybus videos to expect in the coming weeks:
-PS4 Seattle. My new PB is 1566. My goal is to get above 1600.
-PS4 Ring. My new PB is 2179. My goal is to reach my tail, which should be around 2300.
-PS4 Cave. My new PB is 1286. My goal is to reach my tail, which should be around 1400.
-How to skip dropoffs for PS4 Seattle. My strategy for PS4 Seattle involves skipping dropoffs throughout the game so that you can pick up the maximum number of passengers. This video will be necessary because how I skip some dropoffs isn’t as straightforward as it is for other maps.
-Endgame plans for PS4 Seattle. My strategy for PS4 Seattle involves dropping off the maximum number of passengers while being at least 1358 buses long. Four Seasons or Pike Place Market needs to be the last major dropoff because no space is lost when skipping these dropoffs with the route I use. This video will show what the plan will be after dropping off the maximum number of passengers for each of these two dropoffs.
-PC Cave. I haven’t done anything to improve my PC Cave score. However, docawesome22 got the world record for PC Cave three months ago with a length of 1803 (here’s the link to that run: • Snakeybus Cave 1803 (F... ). I plan on getting this record back and will do so by using my updated PS4 strategy and figuring out extra elements to add that are consistently doable in the PC version of the game.
    UPDATES
-I got the record back for PC Cave with a score of 2068. Here are links to the full run ( • Snakeybus Cave 2068 (P... ) and the last route cycle ( • Snakeybus Cave 2068 (P... ).
-I've met my goals and/or made progress for the PS4 maps mentioned in the "Future Snakeybus Content" section. I don't feel like copying and pasting so many links so if you want to see what my scores are, here are the playlist links to the full runs ( • Snakeybus PS4 World Re... ) and last route cycles ( • Snakeybus PS4 World Re... ) .
-I've changed my mind about skipping the dropoffs throughout PS4 Seattle (and therefore won't do a video on this topic). I still plan on dropping off the maximum number of passengers while being at least 1358 buses long. But I won't do dropoff skips throughout the run because it's tedious how much time gets added to the run without the guarantee that I'll still be on the correct bus length while having an avoidable dropoff at the end. Plus I've been getting an acceptable number of runs where I'm set up to meet my goal without having to do dropoff skips throughout the run.
-I've changed my mind about doing a video about endgame plans for PS4 Seattle. I've made changes to how I play PS4 Seattle and those changes make the endgame plans not guaranteed to work as effectively as before. Specifically, the figure eight section of the map is now split into two spirals instead of one big spiral all along the outside (it'd be easier to drive on top of the buses in the figure eight section for long enough if it was still one big spiral all along the outside). My thinking for the endgame plan now is to drive through the dropoff, do the route like normal until my tail is close, and then jump on top of my buses before my tail hits me (which all seems straight forward enough to not warrant a video).

Ah, so that's how you do it. With the perimeter of the map.
    Noice.
Idk how you have the retention or skill to do that for 5 hours strait thou.

Thanks Bashycat! Yeah there's a huge area on the outskirts of this map to help get such long lengths. Miami and Ring also have similar areas outside the normal playing area (especially Miami as that one is by the largest of the three).
      Generally speaking for Snakeybus runs:
-The skill part, I find that using references in the environment helps with some more specific executions (like where to jump from and when, for example). If you experiment to see what consistently works and then do enough cycles of the same thing over and over again, it becomes muscle memory after a while and you don't really need to think too hard when executing a route.
-The retention part, I listen to music to make it more bearable. Sometimes I'm in Discord chats with friends, which helps make runs more bearable too. Also it's natural for me to zone out a lot and think about random things (especially in the early stages of the game) but most of the time that doesn't hurt me because as explained in the previous bullet point, I have the route down so well.

    EXCUSE ME KEVIN BUT HOW?

The area outside the neighborhood is a major part of it. I wanted to see if it was doable to get to 7000 in this run but it turns out, the area outside the neighborhood isn't quite big enough or flat enough to comfortably withstand the endgame lag. So that's what I learned and this is the run I'm good with for PC Suburb haha

@@Mastah_Pete WAIT WE FINALLY FOUND OUT HOW TO DO THIS? I remember you speaking about it and saying it’s too far away from the main place to reliably get there and back because of the death zone

@@light772sandwich Yeah I said that's the case for the console version of the game because the algorithms for boosting on console aren't as lenient as PC

@@light772sandwich I would say most likely not. The couple times on PS4 I've been out there have all been on accident. Even if there is a way to intentionally get out there, getting back into the neighborhood would be another issue to deal with.
Again I would say most likely not but however, I won't say 100% no because over my time playing this game, I've come to be surprised with what turns out to be possible.
