Thanks for this video - this should be helpful for new or prospective users of these products. One small comment: the red switch on top of the LT transmitter will turn on the unit, but only if it has been set up to do so in the menu first.

no matter what i do the ir sync on mine wont work…
What is the purpose of these devices?
You plug a lavalier microphone into the transmitter and it sends the audio to the receiver that is connected to your camera or audio recording device.
