This is such a good beginner pattern. It helps the new lacemaker to understand the geometry of torchon. More advanced patterns will follow naturally from this.

Hi! Is there somewhere we can buy these beginner patterns to download/print? I really appreciate your videos and would love to be able to try some of these techniques & patterns as I learn!
Its on my list to do! It was a design by Anita Wilkinson who is sadly no longer with us, but I have permission to use and publish her patterns. It will be done as a pattern sheet with 3 others, hopefully soon, but just preparing to launch a new book (my third) so may be a few weeks. thank you for your feedback.

Where do I buy the pattern please?
Its not available yet, it was one from my last lace teacher who is no longer with us, but I do have permission to publish it. Its on my list to do.
How do you end the pattern though?
That will need to be another video, as its too long an answer on here. I'll add to the list to film as soon as I can, as things have been difficult recently with family illness.

I am currently working on publishing this pattern along with 3 others on the same sheet, and will be filming more videos for the patterns, including the finishing soon. It has been a challenging few months so I appreciate your patience at the moment.

Not yet, i have had a bereavement recently, it has been a very difficult time but hopefully, it will be ready in a few more days if I can get through a bit more paperwork and bureaucracy from this bereavement.
