If you need new track and American trains then I suggest Bachmann has starter sets with lots of varieties of locomotives and cars.
They are also very cheap

When it's about anything importing to India from US..... there is nothing cheap now a days. A $50 things attracts $90 import fee and shipping. And starter sets are always less detailed according to the prototype 👍

@@HOTRAINUNIVERSEANDDIORAMAS very good point. But Bachmanns 0-6-0s are pretty close to their USRA 0-6-0 counterparts. The only differences are the valve gears, and the larger funnel to cope with the smoke that some of them come with. They also don’t have functioning front couplers but the shells are easy to take off, they are easy to maintain and painting them is very easy

@@thetoontrain6073 starter 0-6-0 is not up to the mark. I bought it from amazon and returned. It had very problem to pass turnouts and express points.

Visiting to my train room is very good idea but running trains with controller will be very bad idea if unless you have experience operating dcc controllers with various train running modes. Obviously you can run a train on a safe track root of my layout that hasn't any turnouts or express points in my observation 👍
