I've had bad financial habits but decided to do better this year. Still figuring out what works for me but so far, using Mint to monitor spending/all cash flow, beginning to invest again, and checking my accounts weekly has been super motivating. It's also made me more conscious.

I would love to see a video about how and what accounts you have set up. Like I know you have different savings for different things and like different credit cards, so could you explain that basics of separating that?
I kinda talk about this in depth in mg 2022 reset. The accounts you use will be personal to YOU. I have separate credit cards for business, personal spending, split expenses etc and you might only have one. It's truly what works for you. Some people have 1 saving account but I personally like it split up so I have an emergency fund, short term savings, pet emergency fund, vacation fund & tuition! But you might just have 1 saving account you know? Trial and error what works fir you!
You always motivate me to keep up with my budget and finances! I’ve been so less stressed about life the last few years with getting better with my finances!

I really want to get more serious about my finances this year as I have horrible spending habits and feel financially behind. I also don't know much about investing and financing and all these other terms; it all seems too daunting and I don't know where to start. Could you make more videos about financing basics and how to actually save, not overspend, and investing for beginners? I could definitely learn a lot. Thank you for this video, I will surely implement these techniques

I've gotten lots of requests on it but I'm definitely not at a point to film a WHOLE video on it. I invest fun money aka $50-100/month into stocks! I'm still learning but I think it's SO important to do and learn!
When did you and how did you effectively move over to be more credit card user friendly than debit card usage?
I haven't used a debit card for a single purchase in 2-3 years, once my credit card debt was paid off I started using it for everything. I don't even carry a debit card honestly lol! But I say as long as you trust yourself to pay it off in full & have the money in your chequings to pay it off IMMEDIATELY then move over to CC use!

great video detailing your routine! i was also thinking of getting into a weekly budgeting routine (i usually just do a monthly one) and i think doing it weekly will keep me more accountable with saving up for my sinking funds!
It's honestly made the world of a difference & saves me so much time at the end of the month!!

I miss being employed because looking at what bills were due and what money I had was fun. I enjoyed knowing that I can make an extra car payment that month and still have money left over. My favorite layout was just making a table in Word and in each box put the payday, expected amount, list bills/expected expenses and how much I'd have left.

I can't wait til i'm at the point where I can use credit cards for all my purchases 😩. It's such a great way to build your credit score and earn rewards.
It really is!! I highly recommend even if its starting small and just putting your gas or groceries on it to start building your credit score!

Also can you do a video about how you use the every dollar app?
I film monthly resets using every dollar so check those out- its really straight froward to use honestly - just plug in your income & track your expenses. EVERY relationship is so different- we personally split things 50/50, it's just what works for us! But there's so many factors that go into it like income! No right or wrong way to do it just gotta find what works for you!

You should do a budget hack or tips for people that get paid weekly.
Everything on CZcams only talks about Bi weekly paycheck money hacks … not for people that get paid weekly .
I also get paid bi-weekly so sadly I wouldn't be the best person to give those tips but I hope you find someone who can!!

Because I did financial care 😌 in 2021 I finished off the rest of 13,552 credit cards and personal loan all paid off on Jan 3 2022

Please don't share anything important like this with your boyfriend. That is the worst you can do. I lived with my ex-boyfriend and he wanted to have joint accounts. I was like nope never.
Everyone is different and does things differently. I never said we had joint accounts we just have a joint credit card1
