Those Bonita need to be bleed right away or they taste like crap. Mackerel is nothing but bait. I grew up in Belmont area which is less than 1/2 mile from the pier. People will eat anything these days. We used to fish these for fun and release them. You talk about a fishy taste. OMG 73 years in the area
