    No wonder Satan tempt us so much as the body of Christ cause we are not on his team. Its great cause Holy Spirit lives in us and we actually able to overcome it, not by our own strength but by God's strength and I'm pretty excited for tomorrow's church online.

    Amen! Lord Yeshua is my Lord & Savior! My Lord is changing me daily, I’m not perfect but kinda like what Apostle Paul said that, what I want to do, I don’t do, but what I don’t want to do, this I keep on doing. I know I’m a wretched sinner who needs Christ daily. Praise our Lord Yeshua!

    I have dreaded assurance of my salvation. I always fear that on the last day I will hear "depart from me". I fear being self deceived. Every day I wonder whether I really have faith in Christ, whether I'm really his child. I always have this thing telling me "what if you're not saved", "judgement day will be sobering huh?", "are you sure you are in the kingdom". It is all I can think about. I'm always scared about it. It's been going on for a month and I still haven't given up worrying about it. I don't know whether to be concerned about my salvation or to believe that I am saved. I have a tough time trusting that I am in Christ

      I feel the same. Especially since I abandoned God (not just backslide like I wanted to leave God and Christianity forever) for over a month. But, let your fear of going to Hell, keep you from sinning. If you're about to sin, think something like "what if I died in this moment and I never got to repent". You may think "if I'm not saved well I might as well sin" and if that happens, think about the wicked ppl in the Bible who weren't saved but God punished because of their sins. Idk if that's right or wrong but i think it's helpful. If you repent, God says you will be saved. Repent means you confess your belief in Jesus (that he is God who died on the cross and rose again and God rose him from the dead), tell God you'll stop sinning and that your sins are wrong (and that you are a sinner if you never repented) and ask for forgiveness. Then, actually stop sinning. If you repent, you will be saved.

    We are saved simply by believing the gospel.
    1 Corinthians 15:1-4
    [1]Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
    [2]By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
    [3]For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

Just believe it worked, nothing difficult about this. The modern day western church makes stuff harder than it needs to be.

    Vlad, where do you stand on the baptism of water and the Holy Spirit?

    • @u7617
      @u7617 Před rokem +1

      You need both. Scripture makes it clear to be baptised and Christ was our first and best living example of what we are to do and how we are to live to be children of God, to be 'Christians' meaning those who are Christ's followers. CHRIST BEING THE FIRST BORN OF GODS CHILDREN! Christ Himself, was 1st baptised by water and then received baptism by the Holy Spirit... Then Christ further commanded us his disciples to go and make disciples of men, following all he had taught us, on how to be fishers of men! just as He made disciples, so also He said we should make disciples in all the earth 'baptising' them in the name of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit...
      Repentance goes hand in hand with Baptism!
      Christ was not baptised for our entertainment, neither did John the Baptist go round baptising multitudes in vain, neither did the apostle baptise new converts, thereafter in vain. Their is great importance and necessary significance for baptism to your salvation. The new age Christianity wants to trivialise what was given as a clear command. Baptism isn't optional, it is a command.

    Nobody knows if he/she is saved or not. An individual may have an idea whether they are close or not but they will never be sure of it. This is because we are saved by the judgment of Christ and it is only Jesus who has the final say on who is saved or not. *And I [John] saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. Revelation 20:12 (NKJV)*

      Plus Jesus already told us the way of salvation. He’s not picking and choosing.. Wow I encourage to get in the KJV and study up on what salvation is

      @@blizzard1646 _This is the most unbiblical thing ever._ Think about this again brother. What you have just read is from Revelation 20, one of the 66 books of the bible.
      _Plus Jesus already told us the way of salvation._ Okay, here's Jesus directly stating how we are saved: *Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth - those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. John 5:28-29 (NKJV)* That's exactly similar to Revelation 20:12 in the KJV version.

    I wonder if someone could help me first of all i know its really only God that can tell me im saved but i jsut need a little help to understand some things.
    So no1 I did accept Jesus as Lord and saviour 7 years ago and believed in Him
    2 I did have change I saw things much differently than I used to
    3 I do have the conflict I think im sure I do because I want to live holy and love God but the flesh still wants sin
    4 Im not sure about the compassion one I definitely wanted to be around Christians strongly at first and still do but I dont think im the way im supposed to be with that.
    5 My conduct has been terrible I fell back into old sins soon after I came to Christ and ive been confused discouraged and backslidden for most of the 7 years ive been a Christian.
    So my question is the fact ive had such a bad 7 years as in ive not grown ive been stunted ive not heard or felt God because of my sin
    but at the same time I desire change and to be Holy and grow be free from sin and be in intimate fellowship with Jesus so does this indicate salvation ? Ive only just started to come back properly and seriously after I saw Bill Wies testimony on his visit to Hell I beleive God used it as a kick up my behind. And now i m seriously seeking God and repenting of sin and attempting to grow and get close to God.
    But im unsure if I need to believe unto salvation still or not im very confused by this thank you to anyone who answers 🙂

    Soft Gospel. "We don't focus on Change, we focus on growth because if we grow, we will change". Sorry, but...
    Bull.
    This the Gospel of self-help-psychology.
    The Bible says:
    "Let not sin dwell in your mortal body"
    "Put to death therefore"... Followed by a list of sins.
    "Make every effort to"... Followed by lists of things that need to change.
    And more. It really punts this stuff.
    You need to DO it. With EFFORT. You need to be CUT TO THE HEART about sin. You need to HATE sin and turn away from it 180 degrees. That is the meaning of REPENTANCE.
    Not this hope-so easy Christianity. Sugar candy and cotton wool.
    Do I mean it's all human effort? No. You are helpless to change without the power of the Holy Spirit.
    "... will give life to your mortal body by the spirit that lives in you".
    He's right about the new nature and the change that comes through growth, but it's only half the deal. The other half is YOUR WILL. If you don't hunger and thirst after righteousness... well... You won't be satisfied, will you? You'll stay bad. Common sense.
    But that doesn't build huge churches and make lots of money.
    Sad. Tragic. Dead men's bones.
