Onshape CAD Tutorial: A Simple Block for Beginners

Getting started in CAD design with Onshape for the absolute novice. Here, I show you how to create a 3D part from a 2D drawing.
I also explain how to set the material (and its density) of the part so the mass of the part can be calculated by Onshape. If mass of your part matches the mass of my part, then you know you probably designed it correctly. This method is used in the growing sport of Speed CADing, as promoted by Too Tall Toby (www.tootalltoby.com/).
Finally, I show you how to change the appearance (color) of your part, to make it look nice.
