It’s a real blast. I love Sword and Fairy 7 also from Starsoft. Gujian 3 made by another company uses older technology but makes up for it in amazing detail in the graphics department. I recommend all 3 games. At first I was critical about how linear the games are. I’ve spent hours so far having nothing but fun. Can’t say that about Final Fantasy XIII or endless grinding in Souls games. These types of games have the old school fun type all over them.

Definitely one of those games I absolutely heard nothing about yet every review or mention of it is overall very positive so I decided to get it. Granted it's on the PS4 which isn't optimal however I still thing it will be enjoyable.
Honestly, I am playing it on ps4..it definitely has technical issues but the story telling, characters, combat and world building is so damn good..it over takes all the technical issues for me
Thanks for the review SS, I really like the look of this. I'm saving up to upgrade, my console is starting to struggle with modern games (the Ascent had severe problems for me on stock Xbox One). Keep up the great work👍
@@IDreamofIndie Yeah, I feel it starting to chug with things, the load times you mentioned in this review reminded me of the load times in Xcom2 on X1, think it's pushing the consoles a bit too far as it's a pc created game. Would probably have a series X by now but no luck finding any!
Didnt really go over the difficulty of the game. I started on default normal and the grunt wolf enemies and random homeless gang thugs were a cinch so much that I was wishing I had select hard since you cant change difficulty in the options (or s I thought); until I arrived at the first main boss which was some giant fire wolf. Took me several times to beat him and theres a cooldown timer to use health items (wtf?) which makes things harder not to mention said boss had several minions helping it and its damage output was high. So plenty of Souls like dodge rolling was used in effect and eventually had to learn the benefits of mixing up the R1 weapon strike with the R2 hand to hand combat to perform proper combos and L1 parryying. Yeah
This looks like it has a lot of potential and it seems like a lot of great stuff has gone into. But it’s a shame that the PS4 edition is let down by performance issues. I’ll hope the devs somehow patch it up. Thanks for the review/

I'm playing it on the PS4 pro myself and I haven't come across any major frame rate issues myself, unless it happens further along in the game, hopefully they'll put out a performance patch for it soon though, loving the game so far.
This game only landed on my radar today seems like no major outlets picked this up. Looks great gonna pick it up! Ace video as well! Anyone know if it performs any better on ps5 or series x?
I played this game on PC and the game length is around 10-15hrs inc side quests and mini game. £45 is way too high. I want to play again on PS but will wait till the price drop.

Just wait till black friday . That's what I'm going to do. I'm going to be playing on ps5 so the framerate and loadtimes should be improved .
