I'm happy to see Mariah took her voice out of her throat and put it in her front resonators. She sounds stunning and a LOT better than during her last xmas concerts.
She now finally gave in to this technique. Maybe she has always been reluctant to do it coz she could be afraid that the new tone might not be appreciated. Now it's a little different but she can now access the "range" relax, with ease.
@@sap3373 actually it's the same technique as during the Daydream era. The only difference is that back then she was obviously younger, the voice not so dark as nowadays and she could do all sorts of vocal acrobatics. The real issue with Mariah is that she's never had a constant technique she would always rely on. She would just go with the flow. Now she was in desperate need of one as her voice simply wouldn't respond to her repertory anymore. Hopefully it's the beginning of a healthier era for her voice.

2:352:44 can we talk abt these new adlibs?? Like ik the climax is the studio version but these two are totally from her recnt voice and im LOVING how they blend in so well. Her tone has improved and I cant wait for more studio vocals.

I wish she didn’t have the monitor at the edge of the stage. I feel like she gets too concerned with how she looks and it affects her confidence and thus her voice, but my god I love you MC
She uses the monitor to check which pre-recorded bits to lip to and to keep up with the new arrangements and know when the next song is gonna start etc…
