You got a great vibe, changing tubes isn’t necessarily HARD but can definitely be annoying but you make it look damn near relaxing
I live in Miami Beach which is a pretty small barrier island. And I bought one of these about four years ago. Since then I might drive my SUV once or twice a month. And that's usually only to the grocery store someplace where I need to bring stuff back home. Of course that didn't stop my auto insurance from doubling in the last year. I probably pay about $10 per mile in car insurance.
I got a staple in my Jetson Bolt Pro, one month after delivery. I used 4 oz of Slime from a 16 oz bottle. It worked!
Literally exact same thing today...
Great video . Thank you. Great close up shots 👍
Thanks. I needed a tire as well, and that was a real pain getting on. But the curved valve is really important, I ordered that and a tire for $25. I had my bike shop change a flat once and they used a straight valve and I needed to get a valve extender to fill it and even then it was always a challenge. But it also eventually caused the current flat because the leak was right at the base of the valve, so I think the need to keep bending the valve in order to get it in a position where I could fill it caused the tube to fail.
A+ You're the first to do a detailed run down of how it goes back together.
Why is does it feel like the brake calpers feel like its hold the wheel back.like the brake are on.
wow i have learned alot and i just want to say thank you very much for sharing that imformation

cool info
I had the same problem with the air leaking around the valve but no matter that inner tube I buy, the air doesn’t stay in/pump into… and my tires are originally tubeless so I switched to a inner tube and this problem still occurs.. any thoughts cuz it looks like u just replaced the inner tube and that’s it?
Can you please post the tire informations and also the website you bought the tire from
@BenHuttash Would you mind giving an update? Curious if the tube you put in is still holding up. Mine went out, and I was going to try out the BELLs you got. Regardless, great tutorial on replacing it.
Honestly if it screws or unscrews something it's the right size
How’s the riding so far with the straight stem valve tire? I’ve repaired my same model e-bike and both inner tube flatten immediately when I rode around the neighborhood, not sure straight valve could cause this or something else.
Has anyone considered a tubeless tire? I found one but I’m skeptical never used tubless
Good job👍,thank you 🙏
What pump did you use I can’t find a pump to fit the back tire
Does anyone know where we get new tires for the Jetson?
Can you fix flat tires on these small tubes? Someone told me to just buy a replacement for my e bike. Surely the tire isn’t small enough for those patches.
Hello Guy's i need to put air on the tire but the space its too small. The pump nozzle doesnt fit. Do u have a référence for a pump who fits?
What size tire should I get? I have the Jetson bolt. It's actually my son's... it's the rear tire or tube
Wait did i miss how you pumped the tire without and angled valve
Where did you get your tube? No one carries them and manufacturer is always out of stock!
The jetson axle 12 inch bike is worse you have to use the jetson tubes only. The rim is so small the valve is too long I’ll have to try to a different type of pump like a straight one at a gas station cuz a regular bike pump won’t work
My brake system won’t unscrew ife used an alley 5mm and extension to help but it just strips it and its too tightly fastened.
Dang, That sucks! Try some penetrating oil giving it time to soak in and some vice grips on it first. If that doesn’t work you might need to drill it out if and use a screw extractor. If that doesn’t work you might need to retap the threads. You can buy a matched drill bit and thread tapping tool to match the threads that need to go back in. Problems like this can get very frustrating but adding new skills and tools to your arsenal is always a good thing. Good luck with everything.
Actually, don’t unscrew the bolts shown. I had same problem but then loosened the two bolts underneath those shown in the video and brake came right off. They are underneath the two he did and generally face the ground pointing up towards the bike seat.
Like me, your valve stem failed. My valve blew & left, Don't know why. I'm trying to replace mine now.
