BALAY NI TANA DICANG | Talisay's most well-preserved bahay na bato

Balay ni Tana Dicang is the ancestral house of Don Efigenio and Doña Enrica Lizares. The Lizares family is one of the rich sugar families of Negros Occidental.
The house is a very well-preserved bahay na bato, a common structure during the Philippines's Spanish colonial era. It was built in 1872 and most of its content today are original, from the furniture to the silverware.
It is now a museum and a room on the ground floor is now a modern gallery.
