They we’re rebuilding…lost a lot of members because of new academic standards at the school…they are well on their way of getting their numbers back up but as you can see, a small Legion is still a deadly Legion
While Norfolk is my Meac cousin and I never knew they play this because when I heard JSU play this in 2014 season, the JSU version became the standard for me. This Norfolk version really goes too though. Two different arrangements and approaches to the same song. I like both.

The ONE trumpet at Norfolk did an amazing job and so did the Tubas 👌🏾🔥 But I give the W to JSU. In my opinion, their sound was fuller and cohesive 👌🏾🔥

Y'all always moving the goal posts. For years yall have been saying gym clips sound worse for everyone. If that is the case why is NSU the only band with good sounding gym clips? And it's not them fixing anything because it always sounds good no matter the media team or cell phone clip. Just admit your band overplays and it doesn't sound good. Love you KB, but come on bro. Don’t get caught up with the cherry-picked “requests” lol. Everyone in the know knows the Booms arrangements between 2012-2018 were VERY hit or miss. They’ve only recently began to improve on arrangements to resemble a pre-2012 Boom standard.

1) Using these two clips, I say NSU.
2) This was probably the WORST clip of JSU playing this song. That junt was SUPER quiet and not confident.
