If you ever have issues with under or over steer with that bike you can get a slightly longer linkage from pro circuit although if you do that you will also need some 22 mm off set triple clamps from pro circuit to bring the forks back to a 26 degree rake
I'm all about bringing back the "vintage" 2 strokes. In reality a older bike like 2000 ish can still win races right? I have a 2002 Fast by Ferracci Husqvarna CR250 just like Lamson raced in 01,02. I like to think a suspension revalve and its can be competitive with new bikes, right?
I weigh 255lbs ride a 2004 kx250 and keep up with new bikes all day long. Get your suspension set up, maybe some power mods and gear the bike the way you like it. Most important is rider skill.
Hey last weekend I saw an old timer pro nearly lap the entire "expert" 450 class on a 99 CR125. Fact is newer 4 strokes allow people who have no business being on the track ride way beyond what they are actually capable of. They cant ride the bike in the rough straight, They cant corner for shit, but they can line the bike up, twist the throttle, and clear the double. Then grab the clutch, miss the gear, and stall out the very next turn.
Would you mind telling me what screw size for your rear fender and down below where they screw in in front of the rear wheel. Just picked one up and it’s missing the screw and it’s so perfect but the rear fenders loose and bothering me. Also do you know if the 03 front fender fits on the 2000.
Shoot man idk, I haven't had that bike for almost 10 months now. I dont know about the front fender either, that will depend on the lower triple clamp.
Apexeon151 that would be fun! Well it’s not going to rip your arms off like a 450, but it will be pretty comparable to your 250f. You have to keep the rpm up and ride the 2stroke a lot differently than a 4stroke.

Of course the 2 stroke is just a faster bike even bein older ....it takes a 450 4 stroke to beat it
