man they really musta had something on that floor. All four of them were moving crazy. That first Le K round is one of his best, even if I don't think it won against Spider's sadly. In his comps with Kuty earlier this year, he was too eager to show he was listening to the beat and often got stuck on the same rhythm and throwing in beatkilling. This was a major step up in my eyes.
In this one it felt like a real back and forth, like he had some good setup and payoff, clear segments of what he was paying attention to. Different tempos, massive amounts of patience, such an improvement.
Rubix is mostly rubix here, though I can tell his style is getting so much smoother and he had some new shit in this battle I haven't seen before. Not a diss of Rubix, it's just that I mostly watch to see if people got better and improved, and it's hard for Rubix to improve on what is already some insane technical skill. I'd say he's going in the right direction to have even smoother rounds though, ones where I don't feel like he's just checking tricks off a list like that battle against Majid and Ukay a while back.
Ngl, I think Spider and Kyoo were kinda robbed. I'm just a dumbass viewer at the end of the day, and in no world am I a judge, but I really think they were more consistent and flowed better.
All the rounds were so solid though, I think it genuinely is tough, I'm just kind of shook Rubix and Kantyn won.
I REALLY hope Rubix becomes more grounded, he's at the top of the list for me. The Twins are my GOATS, but Rubix is like Erryn Knighton rn lol.
Every time I see Rubix I think if Derrick Rose (youngest MVP ever but was too athletic for his own good and got hurt and ruined his career)

I need Metal to MC some of these battles. Not only are you funny but you react and comment on things the crowd just doesn't. You make me want to reply these battles and look for the subtleties of how the dance reacts to the music.
