Also, PA: Jefferson prefers "Jets" to JJ, lol.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s not an every down guy to start. Give him time to get bigger in the weight room and learn from greenard and slowly transition to an every down pass rusher

If he sits and studies for a year in Minnesota, he will have a Master's degree from O'Connell / McCown university of Quarterback Engineering. If he sits for two years, he'll have a PhD, and a license to practice QB in all 50 states. Best of all, in two years McCarthy will be 23 years old. We'll have to call him, "Doctor McCarthy."

A Michigan coach said J.J. was in so much pain by half-time tears rolled down his cheeks. His dad wanted him to get an MRI, but he refused and said I'm playing. We could tell something was wrong with his leg but Harbaugh (as he's known for doing) kept the injury under wraps until after the Bama game. By the time the Championship game rolled around J.J. said it was fine.
Unfortunately i am not a Turner fan at all. Too small (weight). Had barely any pass rush moves. Doesn't yet know how to extend his arm while rushing. Some of his tackles seem very weak against smaller college players. Has a hard time getting them all the way down.
We basically got a young Nick Bosa in Dallas Turner and a future NFL MVP in JJ McCarthy.

Nix will be 26 soon. Way too old to be drafted that early knowing it'll take him additional year or two to perfect the playbook
