I like to see a mechanic that uses what works over toos over Brand worshipping . Good truck set up.
I welded two 15/16 together for adjusting LIFT CHAINS. I've been a cat forklift tech for 30 years. I am also a shuttlewagon tech ( half ass anyway)
Just got into a new F550 outfitted with a palfinger set up.
As someone that works for cat an wanting to go in a truck this was very helpful. I came from sunbelt driving. I have a lot of tools but steel need a lot of cat tools .

I’m American and have never heard anyone pronounce those words like that. I cringed every time he said “tor-ex”😊. No disrespect though, I enjoyed the video.

How long did you work in a “shop” before you were allowed to work field tech?
7 years road experience before I started working for Cat Dealer
@@slowaf12v okay. I’m finishing up 10 years in the Airforce as a Aircraft engine mechanic and hopping into the heavy equipment world and should start at CAT shortly. Really wanted to do field tech but they told me I’d have to be in the shop for awhile
Most dealers are 5 years+ in the shop
