If I use a andies master and have it open for my second guide line is it the same because someone told me open is a 1 with the masters is that with every other clippers?

What nobody talks about is the dead space between the knives of the cutting blade. The more dead space you have the better it is for corse Asian hair it funnels hair in better . It comes out smoother which you can tell in the feel of the texture. The standard Wahl blade is horrible for Asian hair. Best cutting blades are Andis, oster fast feed, pro fx and Wahl stagger tooth.
I never knew wahl standard blade was not great for asian hair.
I will try the stagger tooth blade next time. Thanks for the advice.
