No but seriously let’s discuss showing up for yourself. Last year I struggled with comparison and I ended that year with a quote my dad told me “those who don’t do, criticise”. So this year I made a promise to myself to always show up to my writing even when I’m running low in my energy reserves. Last night I nearly didn’t turn up to my writing session but I did and ended up being proud with the work I created. Whatever it is, show up for yourself even if the party is just you in it.
